Benne Sada Dosa 3. Benne Soft Uttappam 4. Podi Coin Idli 5. Thupka Sada Dosa 6. Chettinad Spicy Dosa 7. Medu Vada 8. Pacche Benne Masala 9. Pineapple Sheera 10. Masala Tea 11. Filter Coffee Everything we ordered was too good

It’s dirty , not up to the mark , may be we visit late , there is no one to take order or even water too , I ask everything and water pour is worst entire table spoiled, there is worst benne dosa , , ask for spoon . Chettinad biryani suggested but it’s too much salty and and in spice not any flavour

Upon arrival we got to know that we had to wait for 20 mins to secure a table in the AC section. Hence, decided to sit in the non AC section. Just out of curiosity, I asked the waiter if the prices are different in the non AC section. Surprisingly, the prices are the same for low comfort chairs. There are no ceiling fans, the pedestal fans are not placed properly. You might or might not get good ventilation in the non AC section. The food overall was alright. The Jeera Milagu Rasam (soup) was good but a bit spicy. We ordered Green Ghee Mini Podi Idli which was probably the reason behind this very unsatisfactory review. Looking at the price ₹250, I wanted to confirm how many idlis are in the dish as we were not too hungry. He confirmed the number to be 12. As we got the dish served at the table, I noticed that the plating was extremely poor. The mini idlis are literally the size of Pedhas. I counted them, 11 !! I just let the waiter know that there are 11 instead of 12. I wasn’t expecting them to get that 1 mini idli. But no acknowledgement, no apology, no expression on the waiter’s face. Not my first time here but the chain Banana Leaf is overpriced and overhyped for decent quality of food. I believe people just feel the need to share good reviews as it would be a bit ‘swimming against the tide’.

While the food is good, the service and people serving are not. I also booked a table for myself at this restaurant and upon reaching the not so gentleman told me that they do not take booking. Then why is this option even available online?

The waiter was quite rude and refused to provide mouth freshener, even though it was visible that they still had some available. When we inquired, he simply dismissed our request, saying that the service was already over.

Visited for dinner yesterday and ordered my usual favourites – Medu Wada and Benne Dosa. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing this time. The taste and overall quality were not up to the mark compared to earlier visits. Even the Idli and Medu Wada that I had ordered home recently did not meet the usual standards. It feels like the quality has gone down significantly. I also ended up with an upset stomach after the meal, which made the experience even worse. I did mention the difference in taste and preparation to the waiter, but it was unfortunately ignored. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Given this, I have decided not to visit again for the foreseeable future.

I ordered a South Indian thali from Banana Leaf, and considering the price was much higher than other restaurants, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, the taste was quite disappointing and did not justify the cost and brand.

The Bisi Bele Bhat was a big disappointment! So were the banana cutlets. The Kaphi ice cream was really good. The filter coffee would not recommend to anyone
