The food was great as always. Ambience was rather peaceful compared to the other outlets nearby. However there was a lot of wait before we got seated.

Poor service if you choose a Thali - last week went for a meal at Banana leaf- having dined earlier knew the 2 service staff - one well built Tamil gentleman and another disinterested looking person. After I called and ordered the South Indian Bhojan- I was expecting some service by water and any other requirement., nothing came and on finishing when I asked him, he said no service will be provided- shocked at his answer, I told him then you don’t deserve tips- and more shockingly he went and cut out service charge(I didn’t ask for it) and gave me rudely the bill for payment. I have to say food was good - but service pathetic

Banana leaf is definitely to try once for food and good ambience ,Benne dosa , idli , Panniyaram are yummy , filter coffee was just warm so quiet disappointing,few items like Masala Dosa was not upto the mark , Sea wood Banana leafs ambience is nice but being a Sunday service was slow and staff were tired too ! Overall an average experience but with no South Indian Resturant in the mall we are likely to go again !

Idly, Dosa varieties are good . was disappointed with Chettinad curry which wasn't spicy as the authentic version. portion size can be very high so order cautiously
