Condé Nast Traveller's choice: Cheeky, layered cooking rooted in Bandra’s past and present. Prawns in bottle masala custard, beet “steaks,” and crab curry with croissant pav.
Graffiti-splashed walls, church-board menus, loud music, and the buzz of a party you feel lucky to have stumbled into.
Chef Manoj Shetty runs the kitchen with steady precision, while OG Bandra boy and co-founder Gresham Fernandes sets the irreverent tone (and sometimes the music).

Amazing food and service! Big thanks to Dinesh for all the awesome recommendations. Each and everything that he recommended was absolutely super! We had Pali Hill Paloma, Kadak Nimbu Sharbat and Mahua Mule for our cocktails accompanied by crab curry dip, Fanny’s Prawns, fish skewers, fries and coorgi pork (which we repeated because it was frickin delicious!!). Really friendly and helpful servers. We’re definitely coming back!

Some places are popular because of their vibe or a one-off dish from the menu. But Bandra Born is the real deal and knocks every single dish out of the park. Our server Dinesh made some great recommendations and we left the place with happy hearts and tummies 🫶 coming back asap

The food was exquisite, the drinks were wonderful and the service was impeccable. Dinesh was tending to our table and he was not only a wonderful host but also helped recommend some incredible dishes. 10/10 experience!

By far the worst experience i have had in Bandra Born in all aspects. All Aspects : Valet | Front Manager | Waiter | Table Allocation | Food | Overall Expenditure. Valet : I parked my car , told the Valet to take care. but still in the middle of having food i get a call from Traffic cops that my car is in no parking and got fined Rs 1500. The valet denied the cops that the car had actually come to Bandra Born. Front Manager : I had reserved a table of 2 on Zomato and paid 1000Rs as cover charge as well. When we entered , we had to wait for 10 minutes and then got a table on the roof top instead of inside location. The Waiter guided us till our table on the rooftop. Waiter : So when we sat on the table on the rooftop we ordered our food and drinks. The drinks were on the table. and we were asked to shift to another corner table which dark and shady as they told us they assigned us the wrong table. IT was quite insulting. and a group of "white" foreigners got a table where we were initially sitting. Food : For vegetarians it was a disaster. Hardly 2 dishes with Gluten Free options. Asparagus dish ( Rs 600 ) was a small 10cm x 5cm plate with 4 Asparagus. MY friend ordered non vegetarian and her portion size was even smaller and she took 1 asparagus from my 4 asparagus and i was sad. The shroom rice was also average. I know bandra is expensive and stuff , but when you charge Rs 700 for a dish atleast dont be a kanjoos in qty. Protein was absent in the whole menu for vegetarians. The Martini we got charged Rs 700 and got a total of 4 sips and half a sip of a pretentious palate cleanser as well. Overall Expenditure : Rs 4500 for 2 + 1500 to traffic Hawaldar = Rs 6000/- In order to get sleep , i ate 2 Qty pedas at home. Thank you.!

food is good the restaurant staff addresses only men despite several hints and chances to indicate otherwise further even after telling the staff that there are two people they only address the "man" and treat women invisible unfortunate, even in this day and age, in bandra, at an iconic location, went for a special day - but patriarchal behavior cant be escaped here never visiting again.
