I am writing to share my recent experience at Barbeque Nation, Virar, on 17th April 2026. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing and far below the standards I associate with your brand. To begin with, the service was highly unsatisfactory. The staff appeared untrained and inattentive. Despite repeated requests, basic items such as water and tissues were not provided in a timely manner. This lack of responsiveness significantly affected our dining experience. The food quality and service timing were also concerning. The soup was served cold, and when we requested it to be reheated, our request was ignored. Additionally, it took nearly an hour for bread to be served after ordering. Even the main course—which included both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items—took approximately 1.5 hours to arrive at our table. Hygiene was another major issue. The washroom facilities were unclean, which reflects poorly on overall maintenance. More seriously, we found a plastic thread in the bread that was served to us. This raises serious concerns about food safety and quality control. Given the reputation of Barbeque Nation, this experience was both unexpected and unacceptable. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take immediate steps to improve service quality, hygiene, and food safety standards at your Virar outlet. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and share your response.

I recently visited Barbeque Nation in Virar, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. To begin with, the service was extremely poor. After being seated, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes just for the starters to arrive. Even after repeated follow-ups, the staff seemed uninterested and slow to respond. For a place that promotes a live grill and quick service experience, this kind of delay is simply unacceptable. Coming to the food, the quality was nowhere close to what you’d expect from Barbeque Nation. The starters lacked flavor and didn’t taste fresh. The main course didn’t improve things either—it felt average at best, with limited taste and poor presentation. Overall, the food failed to justify the price. The most shocking part, however, was the hygiene. We actually noticed a cockroach crawling on our table, which was extremely disturbing and completely ruined the entire dining experience. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this level of negligence is not acceptable in any restaurant. Considering the poor service, subpar food quality, and serious hygiene issues, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Definitely not worth the money or time. A lot of improvement is needed before I would even think of visiting again.

Visited Barbeque Nation Virar for a celebration, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The problems started right at the entrance—garbage lying around and a foul smell in the lift, likely due to waste being transported through it. Not the kind of hygiene you expect even before entering a restaurant. Inside, the outlet was clearly understaffed. It took around 40 minutes just to get the bar menu, despite asking multiple times. Orders were taken but never delivered, and I eventually had to go to the bar myself to place the order. The food management was equally poor. The main course was incomplete—chicken curry had no chicken pieces, biryani was unavailable, and several dessert items were already finished well before closing time. The most concerning part was hygiene. The washrooms were in a terrible condition—strong foul smell, water all over the floor, and overall very unhygienic. This is basic and non-negotiable for any restaurant. Overall, this outlet is being severely mismanaged. Between poor hygiene, lack of staff, and missing food items, the experience was far below what one expects from a brand like Barbeque Nation. Immediate attention from management is needed.

The worst service and the food was so bad it makes you puke. The staff so arrogant as if they are doing charity by serving us food. The manager is so full of himself he kept yelling at us when we complained about the delay of food. Every thing was burnt and I mean it EVERY.SINGLE.THING the barbeque was a joke and the main course weren't even refilled all we had was icecream and corn salad. We only gave 50% of the total amount and I insist everyone to demand this discount because it is absolutely horrendous of them to treat the customers so poorly and then also have the guts to demand full payment and I feel those who are reviewing good are being asked by the staff or are God's favourite to have received good food and service. Going to barbeque nation in virar is like throwing your money down the drain and waving it good bye and I am not the only one saying this every single customer today were so fed up that instead of eating food everyone were busy trying to locate the manager so that he can get an earful from them.

The food was excellent, but the cleanliness of the toilet and lift was at its worst. I do understand that the mess was created by customers, but even after informing and requesting the staff to clean the washroom so I could use it, it was ignored — or at least no action was taken. I waited for more than 20 minutes hoping someone would clean it. I understand it was close to closing time and the staff had other responsibilities like disposing of waste, but regular cleaning of the washroom should still be maintained from time to time. This is the first time I have faced such an issue with the ambience and cleanliness here. I am forced to write this review because it was very disappointing. I am attaching a picture of the lift area only, as the washroom condition was honestly too unpleasant to even click. Instead of using the BBQ washroom, I had to use the McDonald's washroom nearby, which was much cleaner.

Horrible experience since booking of table,while entering restaurant hostess informed that you have too vacant table in 2 hours we reached half hour late still we were asked to vacant the table by 2 as we did booked 12:00 slot,and on top on that first 30 minutes no waiter arrived at table for service of meal,later the appetisers were served that also 2/3 repeated shitty things which taste very awful,there no was no manners in staff managers actually the whole team requires to trained,we couldn’t even have all the appetisers from the menu as the servers were not even aware of our existence as we were given corner table to sit where there no proper air conditioning me and my partner were literally sweating all the time,as one server to fix the problem he said ‘i cant do anything about this!!’ Overall experience was very terrible didn’t like the food didn’t like the service.

They spoiled our occasion. We mentioned about birthday but they don't give a damn. Staff was a bit rude, asking for something & giving something else that too after a decade. We had to ask 100 times to get a mocktail, starters & even chapati (which we never got) ultimately we had to leave with spoiled mood. We've been to BBQ for more than 20 times but this was pathetic. We gave them the feedback humbly & would be the last time visiting BBQ.

worst n worst experience service was not good, staff presentation n treatment was not polite, all menu foods were not available as we have booked the seats 1day prior they took the seat booking also but all the menu was not available Even in main course steam rice, roti was not available we were with friends we will not suggest others also to visit even the entrance was unsafe n unhygienic.

Waste of Money. Not recommended to go. No hygiene, no food quality, AC not working, two three menu and charging high. Completely disappointed
