We had an unpleasant experience with Mr. Arun, Manager, whose behavior was unexpectedly rude, something we experienced for the first time at this cafe. We had ordered food and beverages and requested to settle the bill at the end of our visit, as three more friends were about to join us within 20 minutes. When the staff member asked Mr. Arun if this was possible, he rudely denied and insisted that we either wait for our friends before placing the order or pay the bill upfront. However, I am giving a 5-star rating only because of Mr. Deepak, whose customer service and hospitality were excellent. We visit twice a week, and his professionalism and warmth always make our experience enjoyable.

Good, professional, hard-working single employee behind the counter...doing everything...making perfect drinks...managing billing and the customers requests & queries. Must be given some help or be compensated adequately. Enjoyed the vibes & the bubble teas.

I recently stepped into the Barista café located in Shimpoli, Borivali West, looking for a relaxing break. As always, the atmosphere was one of the highlights of the visit. The café maintained that classic, cozy Barista charm that makes it a reliable spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy some quiet time with a book. The ambient music and the general vibe were pleasant and inviting, setting a good stage for the food and coffee to follow. The Coffee: The Usual Excellence When it comes to the main event, the coffee, Barista did not disappoint. We decided to order two of their classic beverages: a Café Mocha and a Cappuccino. · The Café Mocha was perfectly balanced. The rich, chocolatey flavor complemented the espresso without overpowering it, creating a smooth and indulgent treat. It was warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweet. · The Cappuccino was equally well-prepared. It had that perfect ratio of strong, robust espresso to velvety, micro-foamed milk. The foam was dense and creamy, making each sip a delight. Both coffees were spot on and met the high expectations one has for a dedicated coffee chain. The Food: A Slight Misstep However, the experience with the food was a bit of a mixed bag. We ordered the Cheese Garlic Bread to accompany our drinks. While the coffee shined, the garlic bread left something to be desired. The concept is a classic café staple, but the execution felt lacking. The bread itself was adequately toasted, but the overall taste didn't quite hit the mark. I felt the garlic flavor could have been more pronounced and aromatic. More importantly, the "filling" aspect of the dish was underwhelming. The cheese was either too sparse or not distributed evenly, which meant that some bites were just dry bread without that essential gooey, cheesy pull you look for. For a dish that is meant to be a comforting, indulgent side, it ended up being a bit plain and forgettable. The Verdict In conclusion, Barista in Shimpoli remains a solid and reliable choice for coffee lovers. If you are in the area and craving a well-made Mocha or Cappuccino in a pleasant setting, this is definitely a spot to hit. However, if you are planning to build a meal around your coffee, you might want to manage your expectations regarding the food. There is certainly room for improvement on the snack side of things, specifically in making the garlic bread more flavorful and generous with the filling. It's a great place for a liquid pick-me-up, but the food needs a little more love to match the quality of the beverages.

The coffee which we ordered was good, we loved the ambience of the store, rates are reasonable in comparison to other coffee stores.

I was ordering myself a Coffee.. I let them know that I want Coffee and than I selected Iced mist vanilla Latte... When its came to my table... there was no Coffee in it. I asked the staff and they said they don't add espresso in Vanilla mist Latte...I was shocked because it was under Coffee section and I told them to do something about it.. the guy in a white shirt just take the old shot in front of me he didn't brew it fresh..it was a old shot and put that in my drink... as a Coffee lover I know the shot should be freshly brewed specially in a cafe like "Barista " it was tasting very bad.. I didn't even finish my drink because I was only able to taste vanilla syrup that's it and after that I checked it in the app the app described the vanilla mist lattee as an espresso drink... today Coffee was waste of money. very disappointed. Giving 2 stars for chesse toast and ambience
