There is definitely something very wrong going on at Bira 91 Taproom. I’ve been there twice in the last two weeks, and both times the exact same server generated our bill halfway through the evening and then pressured us to pay immediately. To be clear, we weren’t done eating. We were still ordering food, drinks, and planning to stay much longer. In fact, only part of our order had been billed. Yet the bill was generated and we were told it needed to be settled right away because it was supposedly a mistake and could affect the server’s job. The first time, we felt bad and paid. What followed was even stranger. Despite having a Zomato booking, we were repeatedly told not to pay through Zomato and instead settle the amount directly. We were given vague explanations about discounts being adjusted later, but none of it made any sense. I brushed it off as a one-time issue until the exact same thing happened on my next visit. My partner had already ordered food before I arrived, and once again, the same server generated a bill while we were still in the middle of our evening. We hadn’t finished ordering, hadn’t asked for the bill, and were nowhere close to leaving. Yet he was insisting that the amount be paid via UPI immediately. Even after I pointed out that this was the second time this had happened, the bill was never cancelled. By the end of the night, we somehow had two separate bills and were again being pushed not to pay through Zomato. At that point, I asked for the service charge to be removed because the entire experience was ridiculous. The bill came back without the service charge being removed. One mistake is understandable. The exact same thing happening twice, with the same server, involving early bill generation, pressure to make direct payments, and repeated attempts to avoid payment through Zomato is not. As a customer, it felt extremely suspicious and honestly ruined what should have been a relaxed evening out. Management seriously needs to look into what is happening here.

food was terrible. noodles were salty, burger patty disintegrated in the first bite. service was terrible. inattentive waiters. water was not provided initially. no refilling service. sauces were not provided. one of tge most rude waitstaffs i have ever experienced. please avoid this restaurant

None of beer are good we tried 3 of their tap beer, out of the big menu only 40% of flavoured beer were available. Would not recommend
