Bombay Daak is one of those rare finds in Mumbai where everything just clicks … fantastic cocktails, creative small plates which taste familiar but still so unique … and an atmosphere that instantly draws you. The energy is lively without feeling chaotic, making it perfect for a night out with friends or even a relaxed solo visit. What sets is apart for me is the music - an eclectic mix that makes the vibe feel unique. The team here clearly puts thought into every detail, and the service is warm and attentive without becoming overbearing. If you are looking for a spot that combines great drinks, inventive small plates and a cool, eclectic playlist, Bombay Daak is an easy recommendation !!

A difficult reservation to get....but so WORTH the effort ! As you enter, the place definitely has a different effortless vibe to it.Old Hindi music with some delicious cocktails.They serve some wine shots at start which was really good. We ordered tons of food (the portion sizes are small). We ordered a rasam chicken and something with Chivda. Both were lip-smacking good !! But the highlight was the cocktails,the Toddy drink was my favourite. Definitely coming back for more.

I went to celebrate our anniversary and we got special drinks with names which I had requested and they made the entire experience so personalised :) Glen was so wonderful ! The food was simply outstanding. The prawns and their flavour was unmatched. The music just added so much to the vibe! Their retro playlist is too fun ! I can’t wait to go here again and try all the items in the menu :)

Bombay Daak is hands down one of the coolest spots in Bandra right now! 🍸✨ The cocktails are next level – creative, desi-inspired, and super fun to sip on. Each drink feels like it has a story, and honestly, it’s hard to stop at just one. Pair that with the retro-Bollywood-meets-cool-indie playlist and you’re set for the perfect evening. 🎶

Bombay Daak is actually a great restaurant. But the people who run the phones- Glen in particular, is the most toxic, manipulative and insincere people i have ever come across in hospitality. I called a week in advance to make a booking for this Friday. They said that they don’t take reservations that much in advance, and that they would call on Monday to confirm my reservation for 8pm. I call them the following Thursday, (one day before said reservation)- not only have they not kept my reservation, but they are gaslighting me on the timing i provided them with. I started to get very upset, and I’m not one to get easily upset - and this Glen kept gaslighting me, saying that i would have my reservation then saying it would not be possible- only to tell me that i can have a reservation at 930. This went on for a while, and then a Glen asked for a Booking fee of 4000Rs (yes, you read that right) after i had myself offered to pay 1000 as a booking fee so that they honour my booking. This is the precise moment where i lost this. Glen, if you’re reading this - i hope you use this opportunity to make big changes in your life. I have never been treated by a restaurant in this way. Truly disgusting. Shocking that you let your people talk to customers in this way

My experience at Bombay Daak was extremely disappointing. I genuinely don’t understand the Instagram hype around this place. The restaurant itself is quite small, and the seating is uncomfortable with wobbly tables — not the kind of setup you’d expect at these prices. We ordered a prawn dish priced at ₹680 + tax, and were shocked to receive just two small prawns. That’s honestly unacceptable. The cocktails were another letdown — served with oversized ice, which makes it feel like you’re paying more for ice than for the actual drink. Overall, the value for money here is just not justified. Definitely not a place I’d recommend if you’re looking to spend your hard-earned money wisely.
