It's amazing, the ambience , the space , their service . Also, The food there was something like only Bengali people would understand the emotion of. We have tried prawn cutlet, mutton cutlet, fish roll, Laccha Paratha , Basanti pulao , mutton kasha & ice teas . I have to agree that everything was mouth-watering and finger-licking. We strongly recommend you to visit there , especially as a Bengali. I give it a 5/5 . don't know why Zomato rates it so low. But I'm being totally honest here.

Gondhoraj bhetki fry was fresh and tasty.Mutton moti Biriyani’s mutton was soft but the biriyani rice seemed flavorless , also there were flies hovering around the food and we were denied when tried to exchange place. Only went here bcz our first time experience was good.

Poor Service Experience and Potential Scam at Bong Adds Bengali Cuisine, CBD Belapur I visited Bong Adds Bengali cuisine restaurant in CBD Belapur on July 20th and ordered Elish Fish. While the menu indicated that pricing would be based on fish size, the waiter failed to inform me of the actual cost beforehand. After finishing my meal, I was shocked to discover that two small Elish fish slices cost Rs. 1,500. When I questioned the waiter about this pricing, he simply confirmed it was "as per size." The situation worsened when I approached the owner the following day to raise this concern. Instead of addressing my complaint professionally, she became extremely hostile, screaming and behaving as if I were the business owner and she were the aggrieved customer. This unprofessional conduct reflects poorly on the establishment and will likely drive customers away. After posting a review on MouthShut.com, I received a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to represent Bong Adda. The caller offered compensation in the form of a Rs. 2,000 voucher for SBI or ICICI bank and persistently urged me to download the ICICI banking app to redeem a "scratchable card" using voucher and secret codes. Recognizing this as a potential phishing scam, I blocked the contact immediately. Key Issues: Lack of price transparency before ordering Overpriced food without prior disclosure Extremely unprofessional behavior from the owner Potential scam attempt following online review submission This experience highlights serious concerns about both the restaurant's business practices and the subsequent fraudulent activity that followed my legitimate complaint.

Very bad management of event. My family had organised my sister in law's baby shower here. The special day was totally ruined because of extreme mismanagement. Starters were not being served to everyone despite urging the waiters repeatedly. The non-veg section had not been arranged and it was being served personally by the waiters for reasons known only to the management. The waiters had to be repeatedly urged to serve the non-veg. The dessert (mishti doi) was being served without spoons. There was no arrangement of drinking water. After n number of reminders, water was being served. A glass of water for the pregnant woman was taking 30 mins to be served and that too after 5 reminders. The place had been booked exclusively for the baby shower from 7PM-11PM and yet, outside guests were being entertained at the cost of our event. A horrible and completely avoidable experience.

Extremely rude staff, we ordered mutton kasha , luchi and mutton biryani. Mutton was not fresh fresh at all. Even 1 piece was totally burnt when told to the staff he behaved rudely . We ordered half plate luchi which consisted of 2pc , we asked if we can order half he said price would be half but when repeated the half order they charged us 160 instead of 140rs(which is the price of full plate consisting of 4pc) Biryani also didn’t taste good. Extremely disappointed. We visited this restaurant before also but sadly their quality has been degraded a lot. Not worth a visit . And behaviour is like very bad. They are fooling people with hell lot of attitude

I had gone with my family on 12th Dec'25. My experience is very bad, starting from service to food quality ... will not recommend to any one to try for the first time Unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. One of my Non veg curry was very salty, upon complain, waiter took it & added some water & given to us. Not value for money Oreder chicken tika masala, only very small pieces of 4 nos.. and charges is 470 Rs.

It used to be very good two years back but off late the service standards, hygiene, food quality has drastically decreased. They have hired some untrained staff who have zero idea about hygiene. Last time I visited a staff dropped a fork near the washroom and then he found it absolutely convenient to offer us to dine with the same spoon. The other senior staff are also nonchalant about service standards and care zilch about customer experience.

Bong adda price is too high. Even though the food is ok quality, it is not worth the price. The ambience, decor is poor. We took an illish thali combo for two. The plate cost was 2800 plus gst. At this price you get much better food. The staff was untrained. The mutton was all bone and no meat at all. I did not like the place at all

1. Horrendous packaging. 2. Only one piece of fish was delivered in place of two. 3. Inconsistency in food quality and delivery. 4. Rude staff and not ready to accept feedback. 5. Overall, a very poor experience.
