I stumbled upon Bumipura on Instagram and was immediately intrigued. On a whim, I made a dinner reservation and headed there, eager to explore their menu. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant wasn’t too crowded, making for a relaxed dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality stood out. The staff was warm, welcoming, and quick to seat me. My server patiently walked me through the menu and started me off with a refreshing welcome drink - an unexpected but delightful touch. I began with two cocktails: Kapitan and Kopi Sour. Both were exceptional, well-balanced, and beautifully crafted. If you’re a cocktail enthusiast, I highly recommend trying them. For food, I ordered the Crispy Cereal Fry Prawns, and it was an absolute winner. The prawns were fresh, with a crispy-crunchy texture, and perfectly seasoned - definitely a 10/10 dish. Next came the Chilli Crab Bao, served piping hot. The bao was pillowy soft, and the filling leaned slightly sweet with a strong seafood-forward flavor. If you’re not a fan of intense seafood flavors, this dish might not be for you, but I personally enjoyed it. By this point, I was quite full, but I couldn’t leave without trying dessert. I opted for the Egg Tart, and I’m so glad I did. The tarts arrived warm, buttery, and wonderfully flaky, without any overwhelming eggy taste - another 10/10 dish. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I’ve already recommended Bumipura to my friends and colleagues, and I can’t wait to return myself to explore more of their menu. If you're looking for a spot that delivers on both food and service, this place is a must-visit!

My friend and I walked into Bumipura last night and were pleasantly surprised at the place. Prithviraj our server knew the dishes extremely well. We had chicken satay and mutton which was on a crisp bread .. forgot the name of the dish. Both were very good. Full of subtle flavors and cooked just right. We had a single malt which was just right. The dessert which was egg tart was outstanding. Crisp flaky pastry with a firm custard filling. Prithviraj gave us a complementary shot of a cocktail based on the Singapore chilli crab, which was really good. Would recommend this place 100%!!!

I had a great time- the service was exceptional, the food was delicious, the cocktails were unique but a couple of them might take a bit of getting used to since we are still new to the concept of savory cocktails. Good fun overall!

Below Expectations.! Food: Good but not the best i have had. Cocktails: Delicious, perfect and Unique. Service: Was bad but got Worse with time. Ambience: Too dark and black. One of the most undone asian restaurants in Mumbai. The front desk was unwelcoming and arrogant. Had a reservation via Zomato so she said wait at the bar, table is on 1st come 1st serve basis.! The food and drinks take ages to be served. Found hair in the food, when informed the staff, he apologized and gave a free dessert.

The food was not at all close to authentic food and also not even taste. Quantity is meant for kids :( Poor food. Needs a lot of improvement
