Small parsi jem in Mahim serving yummy keemas, akuri and ban maskas.. the best of all was Masala Chicken cheese Omelette. super yumm. Best part of keema was that they didn't use any color which other joints usually do.. food was fresh n prompt. one strange thing was the list of Don'ts pasted on the wall.. can imagine the trauma the owner must have suffered which made him write these rules.. would love to visit again n try more of other dishes..

Post shopping in Bandra, we all headed here. Love the Chicken and Mutton Kheema Pav. Different flavours , mutton kheema is slightly spicy if you’ve spice tolerance. Next we ordered Pepper Chicken Rice, extremely filling and can be shared by 2 ideally. Don’t miss out on the “Ice Cream soda” love it !! Can skip desserts.

My favourite for snacks, especially Brun-Keema, Bun-Maska, mutton samosas and chicken cutlets... Wonder why Brun is not available online thru Swiggy or Zomato... I request owners to please make Brun paav available online...

This restaurant is a bit compact but offers a cozy vibe. The masala fried cheese omelette was outstanding—fluffy and packed with flavorful chicken pieces. The mutton paya was truly delicious, rich, and savory. However, the chicken black pepper dish was average, lacking a bit in flavor. The Irani chai is a must-try, a perfect finish to the meal. Prices are pocket-friendly, making it a great value for the quality. Overall, a good dining experience!

Cafe Irani Chai in Mahim scores high on location and accessibility. It’s conveniently situated with easy access from Mahim railway station, and the connecting road makes local transport readily available—definitely a plus for first-time visitors or those exploring the area. As a visitor, I was keen to try this place given its popularity and the buzz around its Irani-style offerings. The preparation style is indeed quite unique and different from what we usually get in the Delhi NCR region, which adds to the curiosity and appeal. However, when it comes to taste, nothing really stood out as mind-blowing. The place is famous for its concept and the uniqueness of dishes on offer, but the flavours and aroma didn’t quite live up to the hype. I tried a fairly wide spread—Bun Maska, Mutton Keema, Irani Deluxe Chicken Cheese Burger, Veg Cheese Burger, and Paneer Bhurji. Among all of these, the Chicken Cheese Burger was the most flavourful and enjoyable. The rest of the dishes, unfortunately, felt quite average. One thing to note is that all dishes—whether gravy-based or dry—are served with pav (if needed). You won’t find rotis or parathas here, which aligns with the Irani café concept. Overall, Cafe Irani Chai is worth a one-time visit if you’re keen on trying something that’s quite famous and culturally distinct. But from a taste perspective, it didn’t leave a lasting impression and isn’t something i would consider a go-to place.

Visited this cafe few days back and we were the 1st to be there. Loved the cuteness of the small cafe. Had great expectations where food was concerned but we were left a bit disappointed. But the awesome Irani chai stole my heart.

tried ordering on Zomato and was cheated. the quantity of one year that costs 40rs is so meagre. if you order 3 teas you will get less than half a mug. this place is a rip off. daylight robbery.
