I recently dined at Champaran-The Handi House and had the opportunity to try their Champaran Mutton Thali and Litti Chokha Plate. Both dishes were exceptionally well-prepared and flavorful. The Champaran mutton was tender and rich in spices, capturing the authentic essence of the region’s cuisine. The Litti Chokha was equally satisfying, with perfectly baked littis and a well-balanced chokha. Overall, the food quality and taste were excellent, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy traditional Bihari cuisine.

I recently visited this hotel and tried their Champaran Mutton, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and tasted truly authentic. The meat was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection—exactly how Champaran mutton should be. The service was polite, the ambience was comfortable, and the food was served hot and fresh. I have visited twice here post one of my friend recommended it. And the place is great. Great authentic taste of Champaran with good quality and great service. The food was absolutely soul-satisfying, rich in flavour and cooked to perfection. We tried the Chicken Tash, Chicken Handi, and Cheese Garlic Naan, all of it was too good! The ambience added to the overall great experience. Truly a place worth visiting. Can’t wait to go back!

I tried their champaran chicken and chicken taash. Both have such authentic flavour. The chicken taash is going to be my go to starter. The caramelized onion is a cherry on too. I highly recommend this place.

I am native of Varanasi. Very much fond of food and taste palette. Since, i like to cook. I am very much aware this champaran style preparation of mutton and chicken. Went on to visit this place with salivating mouth to hover upon the cuisines. Ordered Handi chicken alongwith litti chokha for our vegetarian buddy. Received litti chokha 1st which was very minutely normal to taste and the preparation wise too it wasn’t the apt. Non-veg items taste wise i would say average. The color of the authentic handi items are pretty different and the taste too would say. Pricing is costlier side seeking the taste. It’s a pain when you pay over and your taste palette is never satisfied.
