🌶️🔥 Chulha Village, Ghodbundar – A True Desi Food Experience! 🍲🌾 Visited Chulha Village in Ghodbundar, Thane West, and it truly lives up to its name — mitti se juda, swaad se bhara. The ambience gives proper village-style vibes, warm and earthy, making the whole dining experience feel comforting and authentic. We started with refreshing mocktails — the Virgin Mojito and Passion Punch were well-balanced and perfect to kick things off. For food, the Chicken Lollypop was crispy and flavorful, while the Murg Aalishan Kebab stood out with its rich marination and smoky taste. The main course was the real highlight. The Chicken Handi and Kala Masala (Broiler) were packed with bold, traditional spices and tasted absolutely delicious when paired with Jowari Roti and Cheese Garlic Naan. You can genuinely taste the desi masalas and slow-cooked flavors in every bite. Ended the meal on a sweet note with Gulab Jamun, which was soft, warm, and perfectly soaked — a classic done right. Overall, great food, generous portions, authentic flavors, and a lovely desi ambience. A must-visit spot for anyone craving traditional Indian food around Thane. Highly recommended! ❤️🔥

The food wasn't that great tbh. We ordered kebab platter, fish finger and chicken nachos. Kebabs were so spicy and tasted average and the chicken nacho chips were not of good taste. Even the quantity of chicken in the nachos was too less. Cocktails were over priced too. Table was shaky and music system should be improved.

Review for Chulha Village Absolutely pathetic experience. Visited this place with my family to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it completely ruined the occasion. When the bill came, a service charge was added without consent. When I politely asked the waiter to remove it, he snatched the bill from my hand and behaved in a shockingly rude and arrogant manner. This is not just bad service—it’s outright disrespect. What’s even more ridiculous is that I had already tipped ₹100 to the same waiter, yet the attitude was full of ego and zero professionalism. Clearly, the staff here feels entitled rather than earning customer respect. I chose not to create a scene because I was with my family, but this kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the management. Avoid this place at all costs if you value basic respect. Not a family-friendly restaurant. Extremely unprofessional and arrogant staff.

The experience was quite disappointing. The staff was not cooperative at all. After serving the food, they didn’t even bring plates for us, which was very inconvenient. We also ordered masala papad, but the sev on it tasted old and not fresh. When we complained about it, the staff casually admitted that the taste was not good, yet no proper action was taken. Their response was very unprofessional, saying “it’s okay, it happens,” which is not acceptable. Overall, both the service and food quality were poor. I hope they improve their staff behavior and maintain better food standards in the future.
