Excellent food and drink options at this place. Particularly recommend their grilled chicken, salads and coffee drinks, especially the yuzu cold brew tonic

Great food, a lovely ambience to unwind with friends, and super-fast service. A place you’d happily keep coming back to.

✨ Communion Café – Review 🌿☕ A beautiful café with a peaceful ambience, aesthetic interiors, and a cozy vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated, while the drinks perfectly complemented the meal. Friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere make it a lovely spot for brunch, coffee dates, or spending quality time with friends. ⭐ 4.8/5 #CommunionCafe #CafeReview #BrunchVibes #CoffeeLover #Foodie #AestheticCafe #CafeHopping #GoodFoodGoodMood #MumbaiFoodies #EatWithAG

Falafel salad was tasty as was the char grilled fish (it was only grilled and not char grilled). Fresh lime soda was nice but the watermelon juice (serenity) was a disappointment.

Waiter didn’t really know the menu, or at least it seemed like it. The chicken caesar salad was stale, the rest of the food was good

I am extremely disappointed with my experience today, especially because I have been a regular customer for the past four years. The issue was with Mr. Amrut, who appeared to be managing the restaurant during the day. From the moment we entered, his attitude was rude and unwelcoming. When we asked if we could sit outside, he abruptly told us that the area was closed. While we understood and agreed to sit inside, the interaction that followed was even more disappointing. The restaurant was nearly empty, and as we were about to sit at a four-seater table, Mr. Amrut raised his voice and told us that we were not allowed to sit there and had to move to a two-seater table. When we politely pointed out that the restaurant was largely vacant, he responded rudely, saying, "That is not for you." What made this even more frustrating was that other couples were already seated at four-seater tables and were not asked to move. The inconsistency, combined with the tone and manner in which we were spoken to, felt disrespectful and humiliating. As loyal customers, we expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. This is the first time in four years that I have had such an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. Mr. Amrut's behavior came across as arrogant, dismissive, and completely lacking in customer service etiquette. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that customers are treated with professionalism and respect, regardless of who they are.

**Food** – The food here doesn't justify the price, especially when compared to other Bandra/SoBo cafes with similar pricing. If you're used to the high-end cafes and restaurants around Bandra, Khar, or SoBo, you'll likely find both the quality and taste disappointing here. **Ambience** – The ambience is genuinely the best part of this place, and being pet-friendly is the main reason to visit. **Service/Staff** – The staff always seem rushed. With 10+ outdoor tables and just one person managing all of them, every request for water or an order update was met with the same response — "it'll take time, everyone's waiting for water" or "we have a lot of orders, yours will take a while." Our last order was completely forgotten, and only arrived after we followed up 30-40 minutes later. To be fair, the staff member was clearly trying his best — you could tell he was overwhelmed, but that's more a staffing issue than something he was responsible for. Another issue was that every time we tried to place an order, the staff would launch into a detailed explanation of the dish instead of simply noting down what we wanted. Over-explaining is helpful when we ask about a dish, but here it happened even when we were just placing our order, not asking questions. Eventually, I got irritated enough that I had to be blunt with him and say I already knew what I was ordering.

This was my third visit to this cafe. Last two experiences were nice but this time from the start of our visit, one of the staff members handling the outdoor seating area did not come across as warm or welcoming. Service wasn’t unfriendly, but it lacked the hospitality that makes guests feel comfortable and valued. We finished our meal at around 10:30 pm stayed for a short while to chat. We were already preparing to ask for the bill and leave, as the restaurant closes at 11:00 pm (as per Zomato but I saw there were still some people sitting inside). However, at approximately 10:35-40 pm a staff member brought us the bill (like all of a sudden). I completely understand the need to close on time and we would have happily settled the bill immediately. What felt disappointing was the lack of communication. A simple ‘Shall I bring the bill?’ or ‘Just to let you know, we are closing soon’ would have been much more courteous. Instead, the bill was brought over unexpectedly, which made the interaction feel abrupt and somewhat rushed. Overall, I am unlikely to return and would hesitate to recommend it to others. A little more warmth and hospitality would have made a significant difference.
