Some dinners are just meals. This one was a full vibe. Visited Comorin, Lower Parel and honestly… this place understands two very important things in life: great Indian food and great atmosphere. The space itself feels warm and lively — dim lights, wooden tables, buzzing conversations, and that feeling that everyone around you is having a good time. Perfect spot for a relaxed dinner that slowly turns into a long evening. We kicked things off with a chilli-rim citrus cocktail — refreshing, tangy and just the right amount of kick to wake up the taste buds. Round 1 – Dal Pakwan (with jalapeño, mint chutney & sweet chutney) And wow… what a start. A crispy pakwan base topped with creamy dal, crunchy onions, jalapeños for heat, refreshing mint chutney, and a touch of sweet chutney balancing everything out. Every bite had crunch, spice, tang and sweetness all at once. It felt like a modern glow-up of the classic Sindhi favourite, and it worked beautifully. Round 2 – Mutton Seekh Kebab with Hot Butter & Kashmiri Roti Soft, juicy seekh kebabs sitting in melted butter (yes… actual melted butter 😍). Smoky, flavourful and perfectly cooked. The Kashmiri roti on the side made it the perfect scoop situation. This was the point where the table suddenly got quiet because everyone was busy eating. Round 3 – Main Course Mode Activated The Chicken Pepper Fry with Malabar Parotta brought bold South Indian flavours to the table. Spicy, peppery and super comforting. The flaky parotta soaked up the masala beautifully — exactly what you want from this dish. Alongside it came the Comorin Dal Tadka with Chilli Mint Laccha Paratha — a simple dish but executed really well. Rich, smoky dal with that proper tadka flavour, paired with a crispy layered paratha that had a subtle chilli-mint kick. Proper comfort food energy. What I really like about Comorin is how they take classic Indian dishes and give them a modern, playful twist without losing the soul of the food. Great food. Great vibe. Great evening. ⭐ Food: 9/10 ⭐ Ambience: 9/10 ⭐ Experience: Definitely coming back. If you’re in Mumbai and love Indian food with a creative twist, Comorin deserves a spot on your list. 📍 Comorin, Lower Parel #MumbaiFoodie #Comorin #LowerParelEats #MumbaiRestaurants #IndianFood #FoodReview #MumbaiFoodScene

Comorin located in Lower Parel is definitely a must visit for a leisure dining experience! We visited them on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and they were running a special Thali menu and we decided to give it a try! Note : They do have a full fledged menu as well! The aesthetics at this place is definitely on point, with a fully stocked bar with cool decors and cozy corners and neatly done interiors all around! We ordered for 2 Non Veg Thali which was priced at INR 1399++ The Thali was neatly presented and consisted of small portions of Butter Chicken, Nilgiri Masala Prawns, Dal Tadka, Kashmiri Pulao, Raita along with Dessert The Butter Chicken was authentic, loved the Prawns, Pulao & Dal was a great combo and the Overnight cooked Kheer with Rasgulla was satiating! We also tried couple of drinks and loved them 👌 - Nashik Spritz - Walnut Sour Overall a lovely experience and service is great and the staff is very courteous! Will be back to explore the regular menu soon!

Comorin a gorgeous modern Indian restaurant, elegant and luxurious serving delicious food and beverages. They have recently introduced vegetarian and non vegetarian thali which screams luxury, flavour and royalty. Every dish in the thali was delicious. I loved the kathal nihari, papad paneer and gucchi pulav. Must try the thali. Besides the thali, I loved the mini podi idlis. They were flavourful. Kalari cheese buns and the corn khichdi were good too. The beverages and cocktails are great. We had a wonderful experience. Definitely worth a visit.

From the time we made a reservation to finishing the meal - the service was impeccable. even when it got super busy, they were attentive. food as always was fantastic and sumptuous. we tried a variety of things - all different and delicious. one of the best yakhni Pulaos. also, very accommodative of kids and dietary restrictions. they have something for everyone - the traditionalists who like uncomplicated Indian food and the experimentalists who want to try something different. great stuff guys!

Comorin is an upscale dining spot in Lower Parel. Absolutely love their modern take on Indian food. Recently tried their Thali for lunch. It’s brilliant and a well curated. Perfect balanced meal with great flavours. Also so well priced. 999 for veg and 1399 for the non veg thali. It’s a classic.

I visited this place for dinner with my cousins and I was pleasantly surprised by the food and ambiance here. We started with dahi batata puri and arbi starter. I liked the innovation in the dishes they have introduced. For the main course, we tried their famous dal tadka and then gucchi pulao and paneer papad ki subzi. Everything tasted pretty good but dal tadka was definitely a highlight here. The ambiance is quite lovely as well. If you are looking for Modern Indian Cuisine, definitely give this place a try.

The food is good but the service and drinks are disappointing. They have a mandatory minimum pour of 60 ml even though the alcohol price mentioned on the menu is for 30 ml. Restaurants should be transparent in their pricing. Moreover forcing customers to mandatorily order 60ml when the usual pour is 30ml is quite ridiculous. Ironically , I finally ordered a tequila cocktail that tasted like it didn’t even have 10ml. When I mentioned that , the bartender argued with me and told me to have 3-4 drinks to get tipsy. This kind of conversation is unwarranted. Not everyone who orders a drink is looking to get tipsy or needs a lecture from the bartender on how to get drunk.
