After reading some negative reviews I was doubtful of the idea of having breakfast there , but was pleasantly surprised at the quality and promptness of the food and courteous hospitality of the staff there .. I would highly recommend Dakshinayan for amazing food with deliciousness overloaded ❤️👍🏽

So authentic and extraordinary place for all age level people for breakfast or maybe lunch sometime. Most favourite dish is rava kesari authentic shira. must visit after visiting iskon juhu

Lovely food. Amazing experience. There would be a general waiting of 15-25 minutes. It is worth the wait. clean and hygienic place as well at all times.

Brilliant place for south indian breakfast. their paper dosa is amazing as is the Rasam idli / vada. excellent service and very fast too.

This was my first visit to Dakshinayan.. It's a family South Indian cuisine restaurant in Juhu. The restaurant was packed, with a lot of people waiting to get a table. We dined here for lunch and ordered a Masala Dosa and Veg Biryani. Food was good, but they took a while to serve the Biryani. Also, in case you ask for more raita, they charge extra for it, which sort of doesn't make sense, as they only give you a small portion of the same.

Have been visiting this place quite often, but lately we’ve noticed the food quality deteriorating with every visit. Yesterday’s experience was especially disappointing. The sambhar was served cold and the taste was not good at all. Food should be served hot and fresh, which unfortunately was not the case. The overall quality has clearly gone down. Management seriously needs to improve the kitchen standards, bring in a better chef if required, and make the necessary changes. At this point, it’s hard to recommend this place to others.

The food was good, but the experience was spoiled by the staff. The main server was rude and unwelcoming, which made the overall visit unpleasant. Service definitely needs an absolute turn around. I don’t think I’ll ever return to This restaurant. We were in the restaurant for 30 mins and they asked us to leave as they had waiting. This is absolutely ridiculous hospitality.

Most poor and disappointing experience . Ordered a ragi masala dosa but some other dish was served … Second time around the masala was served separately and the dosa was not even ragi it was of rice flour ( as informed by the server)and was dripping oil. No apology only arrogance. Servers are rude hostile and unprofessional … Surely should be our last visit 👍🏽
