We absolutely love exploring South Indian cafés, and this place was a completely random discovery while we were on our way to ISKCON Temple and Juhu Beach. Its location immediately caught our attention, making it a convenient stop during our outing. What started as an unplanned visit turned out to be one of the best South Indian food experiences we’ve had. The food was exceptional, with authentic flavors, excellent preparation, and a taste that genuinely stood out. Every dish we tried left a lasting impression, and the overall quality exceeded our expectations. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, courteous, and made sure we had a smooth dining experience. The ambience was also pleasant and added to the overall charm of the place, making it comfortable for both a quick meal and a relaxed outing. It’s always exciting when a random discovery turns into a place you’d happily recommend, and this café definitely falls into that category. A long-time regular here, and for good reason! Dakshinayan is my favorite spot to treat family and friends to an authentic South Indian feast. You can't go wrong with their melt-in-your-mouth idlis, perfectly crisp vadas, and the legendary Paper Masala Dosa. The star of the show, though, is the combination of their delicious chutneys and that piping hot, lip-smacking sambhar. Absolute comfort food at its finest. Highly recommended!

Lovely food. Amazing experience. There would be a general waiting of 15-25 minutes. It is worth the wait. clean and hygienic place as well at all times.

The ambience was magical though the vibes were vintage, the experience was extravagant and all melancholic feelings vanished. The food was near perfect with flavour full sides of sambhar and juicy chutney that was thoroughly enjoyed , as a regular enjoyer of the south Indian cuisine, the food definitely enlightened my tastebuds, albeit the long wait my experience was fabulous, and as a food fanatic I can say that I am completely satisfied.

I am a regular visitor here, however I feel that the quality was amazing before but it has started falling down. There was a difference in the quality and taste of many dishes.

Went with one of my friends for breakfast at 8 am. Had their dosa, Vada and idli. Both of us fell horrible sick right after with stomach infections and fever. Would not recommend at all.
