A long-time regular here, and for good reason! Dakshinayan is my favorite spot to treat family and friends to an authentic South Indian feast. You can't go wrong with their melt-in-your-mouth idlis, perfectly crisp vadas, and the legendary Paper Masala Dosa. The star of the show, though, is the combination of their delicious chutneys and that piping hot, lip-smacking sambhar. Absolute comfort food at its finest. Highly recommended!

So authentic and extraordinary place for all age level people for breakfast or maybe lunch sometime. Most favourite dish is rava kesari authentic shira. must visit after visiting iskon juhu

Lovely food. Amazing experience. There would be a general waiting of 15-25 minutes. It is worth the wait. clean and hygienic place as well at all times.

The ambience was magical though the vibes were vintage, the experience was extravagant and all melancholic feelings vanished. The food was near perfect with flavour full sides of sambhar and juicy chutney that was thoroughly enjoyed , as a regular enjoyer of the south Indian cuisine, the food definitely enlightened my tastebuds, albeit the long wait my experience was fabulous, and as a food fanatic I can say that I am completely satisfied.

This was my first visit to Dakshinayan.. It's a family South Indian cuisine restaurant in Juhu. The restaurant was packed, with a lot of people waiting to get a table. We dined here for lunch and ordered a Masala Dosa and Veg Biryani. Food was good, but they took a while to serve the Biryani. Also, in case you ask for more raita, they charge extra for it, which sort of doesn't make sense, as they only give you a small portion of the same.

Have been visiting this place quite often, but lately we’ve noticed the food quality deteriorating with every visit. Yesterday’s experience was especially disappointing. The sambhar was served cold and the taste was not good at all. Food should be served hot and fresh, which unfortunately was not the case. The overall quality has clearly gone down. Management seriously needs to improve the kitchen standards, bring in a better chef if required, and make the necessary changes. At this point, it’s hard to recommend this place to others.
