We had a great dining experience here. Tried their mutton curry, which was well-spiced and tasty. The place is tidy with a pleasant vibe. Staff was attentive, making our visit smooth.

This is a Mughlai restaurant which serves delicious biryani, kebabs, and curries since 1973.The crowd here was mostly tourists.Service was quick. We went here after hearing it's meant to be the best biryani in mumbai. Location is at the start of Colaba Causeway. You can have late lunch here and then roam around Colaba Causeway for shopping or shop at Colaba Causeway and have dinner here. The biryani, was aromatic, well-balanced, and very satisfying. The pricing is quite decent with Veg Biryani's ranging from Rs. 300/- which is quite sufficient for 2 people. Taste - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5 VFM - 4.5/5 Ambiance - 3.8/5

Food is very good 👍 BUT...... Attitude of staff is VERY BAD..... They think that they are doing favour by serving the guests. And the ask for tip upright on the face. Low level behavior. Fire them and get some good quality deserving people who really are in need of job.

Dear Delhi Darbar Owner, Please fix your food and hospitality before your restaurant officially becomes the National Museum of Bad Experiences. *A Night to Forget* — My Experience at Delhi Darbar (20th Oct 2025) Last night, I finally managed to take out some time and decided to visit the so-called “great” restaurant — Delhi Darbar. But honestly, from the moment I exited my car, the experience started going downhill. 1️⃣ Parking: No valet parking available. When I politely asked about it, the security rudely replied, “Khud lagao, yaha koi lagayega nahi.” Such arrogance and attitude — I was shocked. 2️⃣ Entry & Seating: At the entrance, three to four waiters surrounded us, repeatedly asking, “Kitne log hai? Kitne log hai?” — and finally, they sent us upstairs to the first floor without any courtesy or proper greeting. 3️⃣ Service (or should I say, Disservice): Waiters named Fareed and Ramesh/Rajesh attended us. I genuinely don’t know how to describe their behavior — Fareed was extremely rude and harsh, while Ramesh/Rajesh seemed to specialize in sarcasm. They were in such a hurry to take orders and serve food that it felt like we were eating at a roadside bandara. Even there, people at least let you breathe for a moment. Every time we asked about a dish, their answer was the same — “Yaha aisa hi milta hai.” They stood near our table with such expressions as if serving us was a punishment and they were about to retire right after this meal. Honestly, words fall short to describe how humiliated and disappointed I felt. If I could rate this place — it would be -0.000000♾️ stars. 4️⃣ Food: And the biggest shock — the food itself. A place that’s hyped so much turned out to be a complete disaster. Sorry to use such a strong word, but I have to. Because I was the one who convinced my 8 friends to join me here… and we all ended up regretting it. ⚠️ Note to the Restaurant Owner: Please improve your hospitality, staff behavior, and food quality. Otherwise, Delhi Darbar will soon be known only for one thing — “How to turn a dinner into a disaster" Regards Faizan Khan

Absolutely horrible food. They have changed the recipe of their Iconic Dabba Gosht. Biryani was horrible. Mutton was uncooked and didn't feel.fresh. There is a world of difference between this place and Jafferbhai's Delhi Darbar. A big big letdown. Felt cheated.
