We visited deliures new outlet in mahavir nagar Kandivali and were really amazed by the variety of amazing cakes , pastries, bowl cakes they have . From their vast menu you must not miss their limited time mango menu which is just 10/10 and also the pistachio kunafa pastry here is truly one of a kind . We also loved that they have a dedicated snacks and farsan section to cater everyone who visits the shop . Also all the cakes are pure veg , they also available on swiggy and zomato and you can get free home delivery too .

We booked cakes from Deliure, Mahavir Nagar for our engagement on 25th January, with the order placed well in advance between 10th–15th January. The booking included: • One 3 kg designer engagement cake (Dutch Truffle) • One 2 kg regular cake Before finalising Deliure, we had done our due diligence. We purchased and compared pastries from Sweet County and Deliure to taste and try. Deliure was a clear winner, and this feedback was clearly conveyed to the Mahavir Nagar outlet at the time of booking and reiterated while giving feedback. Based on this trust, we proceeded with the order. At the time of booking, the outlet strongly emphasised on: • Making full payment in advance • Keeping complete trust in them for quality and delivery Unfortunately, that trust was completely broken. While the 2 kg cake was acceptable, the 3 kg designer cake was extremely disappointing: 1. The cake was delivered in a tilted condition, clearly visible in the photographs. 2. The taste and overall quality were far below expectations — it genuinely felt like a cake from a local bakery rather than a premium brand like Deliure. 3. Feedback from multiple guests included: • “This doesn’t taste like Deliure” • “Quality is not at par” • “Very poor taste” • “Feels like a local store cake” Adding to this, there was a significant delay in delivery. We were informed only one hour prior to the scheduled delivery that the delivery van carrying the cake had met with an accident. As a result, the cake was delivered approximately two hours late — something extremely stressful and unacceptable on an engagement day. Given this situation, if the outlet knew that: • The delivery was delayed • The cake may be compromised or rushed • Quality could be affected They should have proactively cancelled the order and initiated a full refund. Instead, they chose to deliver a visibly damaged, poor-quality cake, seemingly to avoid issuing a refund. This decision reflects extremely poorly on their professionalism and ethics. The way the Mahavir Nagar outlet handled the complaint further worsened the experience. When we visited the outlet to raise the issue, instead of addressing the concern or offering a refund, we were almost forcefully offered another cake. With no immediate alternative, we agreed — not out of satisfaction, but due to the circumstances. Later, the function for which we had agreed to take the replacement cake got cancelled. When we informed them and requested a refund instead, it was denied. When we calmly mentioned that we would post an honest review sharing our experience and how we were treated as customers, we were told — and I quote — “Aap hume dhamki kyu de rahe ho?” If sharing an honest customer experience is considered a threat, it raises serious concerns about their understanding of customer feedback, satisfaction, and basic consumer rights. This experience has significantly impacted our trust. To be clear, the issue here is specifically with Deliure Mahavir Nagar, as the quality and service did not align with what the Deliure brand represents. As a neutral suggestion for customers, there is also a Deliure outlet in IC Colony, which is not a franchise. One may consider that outlet based on individual discretion and experience. Overall, Deliure Mahavir Nagar failed in product quality, delivery management, accountability, and customer handling. For a once-in-a-lifetime event like an engagement, this level of service is unacceptable
