We visited Dinshaw Xpress Cafe with a mix of veg and non-veg friends, and it’s a rare spot where everyone leaves satisfied. The Boneless Chicken Farcha and Chicken Kheema Pav were spicy, crispy hits, perfectly washed down with nostalgic Sosyo and Jeera Pallonji. The vegetarians were equally impressed—the Veg Dhansak was incredibly authentic, and the Veg Mama Rossa was pure comfort. We rounded off the meal with the Fish and Chips and a trio of desserts. The Kolkata Pan Sundae is a refreshing revelation, while the DxC Sundae and German Chocolate Brownie are a chocolate lover’s dream. Verdict: With its cozy vintage vibe and a menu that nails both Parsi soul food and cafe favorites, this is a must-visit!

Visited Dinshaw's Express Cafe and had a great experience This 14-year-old heritage Parsi eatery has a lovely old Bombay vibe and is quite popular among Parsi celebs. Tried the Chicken Farcha, Chicken Keema Pav, Salli Boti, and Dhansak everything was delicious. The keema was well balanced, light, and not oily at all, while the Salli Boti was super flavourful and honestly the highlight of the meal. Dhansak with brown rice was hearty and comforting. Service was quick and the overall vibe was warm and inviting. Definitely a must visit if you’re craving authentic Parsi food in Mumbai

Made famous by numerous food influencers on Instagram, we’ve been super keen on trying out this Parsi restaurant for a while now. A group of us friends decided to order in one Sunday for lunch. We were 8 of us, hence were able to try more of their dishes. Here’s what we had; 1. Chicken Farcha (boneless): Thick egg coating around boneless pieces of chicken. The Chicken meat though was not succulent as they used all breast pieces, hence would suggest to choose the leg pieces instead which would have been more juicy & enjoyable- 4/5 2. Mutton Cutlets: You could give this a pass if you are already getting the Farcha. Made of mutton mince and deep fried again with egg coating served with a gravy, these were okayish, they tasted much like a regular cutlet- 2/5 3. Mutton Dhansak with Brown Rice: This is the very traditional Parsi dish of rich brown thick consistency lentil gravy which went well with the brown rice which was flavoured quite simply with just whole spices- 4/5 4. Mutton Berry Pulao: Did not taste as good as I had expected it to, I found the rice to be dry and the Berries few- 2/5 5. Mutton Keema Pao: This was served with a topping of fried eggs and was quite good- 4/5 6. Lagan Nu Custard: I did not fancy it as much as there were no toppings of Jaroli seeds or Nuts on top. Hence, it lacked that nutty bite which would have paired so perfectly well with the soft yet firm richness of the baked custard- 2/5 We did eat this food to our hearts content and I must mention that their non vegetarian dishes all tasted much better the next day. I am definitely going to re order from here!

Second time - inspite of booking through Zomato the table is unavailable. This time they weren’t even open inspite of accepting the booking for 10 am breakfast. Asked us to wait for 30 mins! It’s unfortunate that a place serving good food is so mismanaged.
