Visited Downtown 29, BKC and the place absolutely delivers on the modern BKC dining vibe. The ambiance feels chic yet lively with dim lighting, elegant interiors, upbeat music, and a crowd that gives it that perfect after work and weekend hangout energy. The seating is comfortable, the space feels spacious, and the overall atmosphere strikes a balance between classy and fun without being too loud. Baileys & Coffee was smooth, creamy, and indulgent with the perfect balance of coffee bitterness and Baileys sweetness. It had a rich dessert like finish and worked beautifully as a comforting drink. Spicy Seoul Chicken had a bold Korean style flavour profile with a spicy glaze that packed a nice kick. The chicken was juicy inside with a glossy coating that made every bite flavourful and addictive. Chicken Cheddar Slider was soft, cheesy, and satisfying. The chicken patty was tender while the melted cheddar added a creamy richness that made it feel like the ultimate comfort bite. Citrus Paprika Chicken stood out for its smoky and tangy flavours. The paprika seasoning gave it warmth while the citrus notes added freshness, making the dish feel balanced and light despite being flavour packed. Non Veg Lasagna was hearty and indulgent with layers of rich meat sauce, creamy cheese, and perfectly baked pasta sheets. It had that classic comforting flavour with generous portions and a cheesy finish. Tres Leches was the perfect ending to the meal. Soft, moist, and beautifully soaked, the cake was light yet decadent with just the right sweetness that didn’t feel overpowering. The service was warm, attentive, and quick throughout the experience. Overall, Downtown 29 feels like one of those places in BKC where good food, stylish ambiance, and energetic vibes come together really well.

Downtown 29, BKC is one of those spots that gets the vibe just right. The ambience stylish, colourfull yet lively & soothing—perfect mix of a chic resto-bar and a fun night-out place. With indoor and outdoor seating (yes, even the outdoor area is air-conditioned), you get comfort with a view. Add to that live cricket screening, live singing, and great music—there’s never a dull moment here. Perfect for everything from casual dinners to celebrations. Coming to the food and drinks—definitely a solid experience. The LIIT was strong and well-balanced, while the Strawberry Picante had that perfect sweet-spicy kick. The Downtown Fried Chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavour, and the Cajun Chicken Tikka brought a nice smoky twist to a classic. The Chicken Jalapeno Risotto was creamy with a subtle heat, and the Chicken Drunken Noodles were packed with bold, saucy flavours—super satisfying. Ending it on a sweet note, the Tres Leches was soft, rich, and absolutely indulgent. Overall, a great place for good food, great drinks, live entertainment, and an energetic dine experience right in the heart of BKC. 🍸✨

Went to Downtown 29 for lunch and honestly, this place gets everything right - vibe, food quantity and most importantly, flavor. Started with the Hoisin Chilli Paneer- perfectly balanced, saucy, and not overly sweet like it often gets. The Burnt Garlic Chicken was easily a standout - bold and packed with flavor. The Mexicana Veg Pizza was loaded and super satisfying, while the Dal Makhni Rice combo was pure creamy comfort. Drinks were equally impressive - the Delusional (double black cocktail) was strong and smooth, and A Thai Affair with Tanqueray was refreshing with a unique twist. Mr. Amar was bang on with his recommendations 👍🏻 Great food, great drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely coming back!

It feels warm, relaxed, and thoughtfully put together. Food-wise, their Cajun chicken tikka is an absolute must-try. And don’t even think of leaving without trying the tiramisu; it’s rich, balanced, and honestly one of the best ways to end your meal. Overall, it’s a place that delivers not just on taste, but on the entire experience.

Exceptional hospitality and outstanding service. Sanjay manages the restaurant with such professionalism and warmth that the entire experience feels elevated. From the ambience to guest handling, everything was seamless. Truly appreciate the effort and care he puts into making every customer feel valued. Highly recommended!
