We were looking to have lunch and thought of trying out food at Dwarka. The restaurant is near the Borivali Railway station and has AC and non-AC sections. We started by ordering masala papad. The papad was as is regularly found in restaurants. A fried crunchy papad topped off with some chilli powder and chat masala, along with a garnishing of freshly chopped tomatoes, onions, and coriander. The taste was delicious, and the good part being it was not too spicy. The papad was indeed a light starter to the main course. For the main course, we tried out their Punjabi thali. The thali had three vegetables - paneer butter masala, mixed vegetables, and a dry sabzi which we replaced with mixed veg. to make it double. Both dishes were delicious, and, for my thali, they took care to give me both sabzis without coriander and garlic, right in line with the special instructions. We order roti with one and naan with another thali. I had the butter naan, which was delicious, with a generous quantity of butter flowing through it. I found it exceptionally soft; the best part is that the naan was not even slightly burnt, indicating it was cooked perfectly. The dal fry and the tawa pulav were cooked very well, and in fact, the tawa pulav was one of the best I have had in many restaurants. Made with long-grained rice, it was not too spicy but just enough to bring out the flavor of the spices used with the rice. Lastly, the gulab jamun was served hot and was just perfectly sweet to end the entire lunch with a dessert. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant. Correct quantity, great taste, and professional service. I would recommend visiting the restaurant.

Dwarka Veg Restaurant in Borivali is a family-friendly local spot that serves comforting food. I have visited this place earlier as well and this time I decided to order their Cheese Pav Bhaji. It arrived within five minutes and looked quite tempting. The bhaji was perfectly balanced in flavour. It wasn’t extremely spicy or buttery, which I really liked. It was generously loaded with cheese and the toasted pav was good too. The portion size was satisfying for the price. The staff was nice and polite. Even though I didn’t dine in, the service was smooth and well-managed. I feel this is a good place for families and regular visitors who enjoy simple vegetarian food at a reasonable cost. Ratings: Quality - 4/5 Quantity - 4/5 Service - 3.9/5 Price - ₹400 for 2 people For more mouthwatering food content, don’t forget to follow @chefvaidehipathare on Instagram!

It is a huge positive that this restaurant is open throughout the day and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We visited this place around 4pm after a hospital visit and the food did perfect justice to our roaring hunger. - Usal Pav : The Usal was lip smacking and the flavours were very well balanced. With a perfect balance of spices as well. The quantity was also very good for two people if you don’t want to just fill up on one dish. - Tawa Pulao : Has to be one of the nicest tawa pulaos I have had and the fact that it was not very spicy is a win. Would suggest this restaurant to everyone looking for a good vegetarian option in Borivali for a very homely atmosphere and some yummy food.

one of the worst service ever . the staff does not know to talk to the customer. ordered burger for my nephew and when tasted, the bread was smelly and stale. bread was not at all fresh. as we were explaining the waiter, they were not accepting it and on top of that they were blaming us for raising the issue as they were saying that the bread was fresh. we conveyed our opinion but he was not ready to accept and was just arguing. will never recommend this place at all. worst experience ever
