Effingut Colaba has truly brought a fantastic Bavarian festival vibe to Mumbai with their ongoing Oktoberfest celebrations. While their house-brewed craft beers—like the traditional, malty German Festbier and Märzen—are always a massive draw, they really go all out with their custom culinary menu for the festival. The mac and cheese knödel was definitely the star dish of the evening. You also can't miss their veggie Fest pizza, which was surprisingly refreshing. Tiramisu was at its very best .Overall, we had an unforgettable time soaking in the Oktoberfest vibes!

The awesome place in colaba effingut is a perfect hub to enjoy oktoberfest 2026 The star dish of the eve for us was the mac and cheese knodel Beside that also try their fully loaded Nachos and their refreshing craftbeers Thank you

Everything is fantastic, ambience, food, crowd, music and beer. Even on Monday the place is happening. Thanks to Ayush and Salman for providing the best table service.

good beer, good nachos, great vibe. just a mammoth of a waiting line. like at the end of the day, I just got to have my table for 8 for a mere 45 minutes until closing time, as that's how much they made us wait.

Had a very unpleasant experience at Effingut Colaba because of a staff member named Samson. My sister briefly danced with a gentleman who happily reciprocated before returning to his table. Samson immediately intervened and told her this wasn't allowed, which she accepted. Later, when she simply tried to speak to the gentleman to apologise, Samson again aggressively stopped her—even though the gentleman himself said he had no problem talking to her. We chose to leave to avoid any argument, but while we were peacefully speaking outside, Samson unnecessarily called the police and created a whole scene. We understand venues have rules, but the way this was handled was extremely intimidating and disproportionate. We were made to feel judged, unsafe and uncomfortable despite not harming or disturbing anyone. Very disappointing behaviour from the staff.

Reserved a table through District. Waiting for the table was fine, but after we were seated, we were asked mid-meal and mid-drinks if we had been told to leave by 8 PM, something that was never communicated to us. To make it worse, we had asked for another round of drinks, which wasn’t even served before we were asked to leave. If there’s a time limit on reservations, communicate it upfront. Asking guests to leave while they’re still eating and waiting for their drinks is not good hospitality. I visited because I’d had a great experience at Effingut Pune, so this was particularly disappointing. Really poor experience.

Terrible experience at Effingut Kala Ghoda. The service was horrible, the waiters were extremely rude and rigid. They had a 1+1 beer offer , but despite it being before 6 PM, they claimed 5:40 PM was the last order time. The offer itself was poorly structured — one person has to finish the first beer before the second one is served, so two people cannot avail the offer simultaneously. When we questioned this, the staff was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. Definitely would not recommend this place.
