Ekaa is one of those rare fine-dining restaurants where food and drinks are driven by genuine passion and a great deal of thought. I visited with a friend and opted for the a la carte menu, and as a chef, I can confidently say the flavours and concepts are spot on-well-balanced, intentional, and deeply rooted in craft. The service truly stands out. The bar programme deserves a special mention: the mixologists don't just serve drinks, they tell stories. Each cocktail is explained with such clarity and enthusiasm that it becomes a mesmerising part of the experience. Do not miss the Champa and Mountain Pepper-beautifully executed and unforgettable. The thoughtful explanations and deep understanding by the mixologist bring the menu to life, making the experience both engaging and memorable. The open kitchen is another highlight-they actively encourage guests to step in and take a look. Watching the food come together amid the hustle and bustle adds a beautiful layer to the experience and makes the meal feel even more immersive. The tapas are worth exploring. The pork belly, embers, mochi, and tomato are all standouts. The tomato, in particular, is a perfect example of how something simple can be elevated into a dish that's incredibly flavourful and thoughtful. For the mains, I highly recommend the Mustard dish. If you love fish, this is a must-try. It's assembled live at the table, and while it comes together, the servers share insights that add depth and context to the experience. Do try the Spring Chicken, a DIY taco-style dish where you assemble the bite yourself. The flavours are bold, balanced, and absolutely on point-fun to eat and brilliantly executed. Among the vegetarian offerings, the Mogri, Tapioca, Plantain, Pumpkin, and Greens truly stand out-easily some of the best dishes on the menu. Each one is deeply flavourful and refreshingly unique. The Pumpkin, paired with a fermented ragi crisp, is an absolute stunner and a perfect example of thoughtful, modern cooking done right. For the desserts try out the Honeycomb, Coconut and Cacao. What truly sets Ekaa apart is the warmth and attentiveness of the team. Multiple people check in to ensure everything is just right, and they actively encourage honest feedback-which speaks volumes about their confidence and commitment. Overall, it's a fun, immersive experience that lingers well beyond the meal. Thoughtful, passionate, and beautifully executed-Ekaa delivers on every front.

A beautiful evening at Ekaa that truly felt like a culinary journey. The 20-course tasting menu “Awakening” was nothing short of world class. Every course felt like a tiny surprise from the playful Achappam waffle and monaka bites to the delicate almond-tomato and cashew custard creations. The progression of flavours was thoughtful, creative, and perfectly balanced. Some dishes were pure comfort, others completely unexpected the Chip Shop twist, the light iceberg course, and the roulade stood out beautifully. And the final Harry Potter Butter Beer inspired dessert added a whimsical, magical finish to the experience. What makes Ekaa special is not just the food but the storytelling on the plate. Each course felt intentional, artistic, and deeply memorable. An unforgettable dining experience refined, creative, and truly world-class. ✨

We had a great new year eve dinner at Ekaa. The staff was very courteous and kind. One of the fried main dishes wasn’t what we expected and the chef and manager were really kind and understanding to replace it with a better dish. Highly recommend!

It’s always a pleasure dining at Ekka. I feel less like a guest and more like family. Each dish is so unique and ingredients driven. You can taste the love and intention in every bite. My favorite restaurant in India 🥰

The food was good in parts. We ordered all the veg small plates on the menu. Small plates portions were small so we had to repeat all of them (for 8 of us). The main course portions were sufficient. What dishes one would like entirely depends on ones own taste as on our table itself most items had mixed feedback. Also, rs350 for a bottle of water seems steep.
