On a busy evening when I was looking for a new place to eat, I came across a charming small restaurant called Ekadashi, situated near Shivaji Park. The name caught my attention, so I decided to visit here with my friend. It’s a small restaurant with only two tables, which means it can accommodate 8 people at a time. We were greeted by an uncle who welcomed us with a warm smile. For our meal, we ordered Sabudana Vada and Misal Pav. The Sabudana Vada was delightfully soft, and it came with a white chutney that had a unique texture, almost like it was ground using a mortar and pestle. It wasn’t overly sweet or spicy. The Misal Pav was also flavorful and let me tell you it was not overloaded with red colored oil. After the Misal Pav, we also had a Piyush, which was tasty as well. I strongly feel they follow the simple yet effective philosophy of "less is more." I am really impressed by how they maintained the legacy of Maharashtrian cuisine and its culture. The food served here makes it well worth every penny spent. It's a small humble place, with total 3 tables and a small kitchen. But Each and every dish we ordered turned out to be very good! We ordered : Mutter pattice - 5/5 loved it so much ordered one more plate for takeaway Misal with puri - Spicy as it should be and puris were also good - 4/5 Thalipeeth - serevd with white butter, better than aaswad and other Maharashtrian Speciality restaurants in Mumbai. Absolutely loved it - 4.5/5 Dalimbi bhaat - a version of masala bhaat and also very good. Light and non spicy - great to have after a spicy misal. 4.5/5 Bharli Vangi - we were full but we still wanted to try this hence got it as takeaway - loved this as well - 5/5 kharvas - Milk based Maharashtrian dessert - 4.5/5 All in all, great taste and value for money. Around 500 for 2 for a heavy stomach filling lunch / Dinner. Its a hidden gem, Better than most of the Maharashtrain restaurants in Mumbai. But keep in mind its a small place with seating capacity of only 3 tables. Definitely be visiting again!

Ekadashi is one of my favourite food joints when it comes to Maharashtrian delicacies. Excellent taste and all the dishes have a homely touch. The entire menu is just delicious and the service is fast and professional. Must try is puri bhaaji, kaju usal, dalimbi bhaat, mini batate Wade and sabudane wade, pineapple sheera, wada usal pav, vatana pattice and the list goes on. Dining and ordering from ekadashi will always be an amazing experience. Ekadashi duppat khashi 🙌

Nice place to eat Maharashtrian food. Awesome taste. Mini Batata Vada , Mini Sabudana Vada , Thali peeth , Kokam sarbat is must try. Everything is available at affordable rate. Seating capacity is less , so you could have to wait during rush hours.

Ekadashi Upahargruha is a humble eatery. It is usually full of activity during peak hours. As we went here around 4pm, the place was less bustling. We had - Mini Pudina Bhaji - 4/5 Kaju bhaji (Saturday special) - 4/5 Puri - 4/5 Paneer biryani 4.5/5 Aamras - 4.5/5 I would definitely recommend Aamras Puri. It was refreshing to have the tasty Aamras at the start of the season. Paneer biryani had a smokey flavours which you will definitely savour. They serve the Pudina Bhaji on banana leaves, this adds to the flavours of the dish. Go here for the cuisine, as they serve some unique, authentic, Marathi dishes, hardly found in any other restaurants. Service - 4.5/5 Food - 4.5/5 Ambiance - 4/5

Dahi Misal Pav is a must try! Absolutely delicious misal. Sabudana wada was okay-ish. Bit too dense instead of being soft

Food Review: I tried the misal pav and pineapple sheera. The misal was underwhelming and quite bland. On the other hand, the pineapple sheera was really good. Ambience review: The place is unhygienic and cramped with almost no ventilation. I just wanted to quickly finish my meal and step out. Overall: If you are looking for a quick and budget friendly hot meal, this place works. Otherwise, it’s skippable.

This place had one of the tastiest Misal Pavs I've had in a long while. However, the hygiene was quite questionable. The place wasn't clean. One of the servers picked Pav from the floor and kept it back with the clean ones. A sad experience! Taste - 4/5 Hygiene - 1/5

They give us some diff gravy & not traditional Rassa. Even it has taste this is not how misal pav is. There are many other outlet in the same area serving better Misal.
