Facing East came highly recommended by a friend, and it turned out to be a perfect pick for a small reunion with old office colleagues. Funny how I’ve visited places right next door so many times, yet somehow always missed this gem. The moment you step in, the restaurant greets you with a warm, rustic charm. The slightly dim lighting adds to the cozy vibe rather than taking away from it, making it an ideal spot for relaxed conversations. The seating is thoughtfully arranged, and the staff is attentive without being intrusive—always a good sign. We kicked things off with a round of drinks—Cosmopolitan, Gin & Tonic, and a Virgin Mojito. While they were decent, the real highlights were yet to come. As a first-time sushi explorer, I was pleasantly surprised. The Crunchy Avocado Sushi Roll and Veg California Sushi Roll were beginner-friendly and quite enjoyable. For vegetarians, the Paneer Chilly is an absolute must-try—it easily stole the show. The main course sealed the deal. The sizzling noodles paired with Kung Pao Potatoes were nothing short of lip-smacking—comfort food with a punch of flavor. All in all, Facing East delivered a delightful evening with great food, inviting ambience, and even better company. Definitely a place I’d come back to. Highly recommended!

we went there without reservations so had to wait for a few minutes but like always the ambience was great and lively we had crunchy avo sushi and hong kong dumplings. it was the perfect melt of cheese and crunch. The green thai curry and blue edamame pea rice was amazing as well. Had a great time here. Would highly recommend!

The food lacked flavour and was quite bland without sauce. It tasted just fine and not that great even after adding sauce. A bit expensive for what it offered.

The quality of the food has drastically deteriorated. The table supervisor was quite dismissive and not welcoming at all. Service was as poor as the food.
