Excellent food if you’re looking for healthy options. The menu is diverse from burgers to pizza’s to pasta’s and there’s not one thing that I dislike on the menu. Great vegan options, staff is very kind and efficient. They customize your food as per your liking. Great food without the guilt.

There was some waiting but we got a table soon. Staff member Kirti served us very well. All her food suggestions were really good. We had a pesto chicken pizza, chicken caprese and teriyaki grilled fish. We enjoyed the food as well as the quick service.

Lovely little cafe. Contrary to some of the reviews, the staff were quite polite and we had a good experience. There can be a long-ish wait time for food when the cafe is full. The pumpkin pasta was to die for! The French toast on the other hand was okay, quite dry as it wasn't soaked enough.

So I finally visited the famous farmers cafe in Khar. Honestly it is bit hyped because it’s very small, ambience was congested but may be because it’s in Khar, they were charging for the area. About food: Food was delicious, quantity of food was good but they are also charging alot for it so I guess they justifies the portion size. Overall good decent experience

Rating: 2.5 / 5 We visited Farmer’s Cafe today for dinner as a family of six. There was a short waiting time of around 5–10 minutes, which was fine. While waiting, I checked the reviews and noticed many comments about rude staff. At that point, we felt maybe those were isolated cases. Unfortunately, our experience proved otherwise. I am currently on a strict diet and ordered a high-protein chicken bowl. The menu description did not mention any cream or heavy dressing. In similar places, such items are usually served on the side so the customer can decide. In this case, the chicken was served with cream mixed in. I had already requested that the sweet potato mash be kept separate since it was clearly mentioned in the menu. That request was followed, which shows that customization is possible. However, there was no mention of cream anywhere, so I had no way of knowing it would be added. When I politely told the staff that I could not eat it due to my diet, the response was rude and dismissive. I was told that it was my responsibility to ask in advance. I explained calmly that if something is not written on the menu, a customer cannot guess it. The staff was not ready to listen, and the tone was unpleasant. The dish was finally adjusted, but only after an unnecessary argument. Another small but telling incident. We ordered a sandwich with spinach and mushroom. We had a two-year-old child with us and requested the sandwich be cut into smaller pieces. This is a very basic request. The staff outright refused and said it was not possible. We eventually had to cut it ourselves at the table, which clearly showed that the refusal made no sense. We also ordered a hot cocoa with 70% dark chocolate and skimmed milk. This order was forgotten and came only after we had finished our food, despite reminding the staff. The concept of Farmer’s Cafe is positioned around fresh, healthy food. When a customer clearly communicates dietary restrictions, the staff should respond with patience and basic courtesy. That was missing throughout our visit. Celebrity visits or popularity do not compensate for poor customer behavior. Repeat customers come from everyday diners, not just hype. Overall, the food itself was okay, but the service and attitude of the staff were disappointing. Based on today’s experience, I would rate this place 2–2.5 out of 5. There is a lot of scope for improvement, especially in how customers are spoken to and how basic requests are handled.

The food was genuinely good: Arabiata pasta and smoothie were excellent, and even the pesto pizza (though overloaded with broccoli) held up. But the experience completely ruined it. We were two people for lunch and asked for a slightly bigger table because the 2-seater tables are small. The waitress, however, insisted we sit at the 2-seater: not rude, but definitely not warm or accommodating either. Ironically, midway through our meal, a group of 15 people arrived (a pre-booked table), and the same waitress who forced us onto that tiny table told them we’d be done soon. From that point on, the entire staff, the waiting party, and even other guests were looking over, creating this awkward pressure like we were supposed to hurry up and leave. There were other free tables around, yet somehow, we were made to feel like we were in the wrong place. It wasn’t just the constant stares. The place is small, and when that group of 15 started sitting around us, you could hear them and the waiters talking amongst themselves saying “they’ll be done soon.” It was happening on our left, right, and even between the staff. The pressure was just ridiculous. And the moment we asked for the check, it was at our table in less than ten seconds. The whole vibe was basically “just finish and get out.” It’s clear the issue isn’t the food, it’s the hospitality. The staff really needs proper training in basic courtesy and table management. For a place that proudly says “Eat like it matters,” it ended up feeling more like “Eat fast and move out.”

Farmers cafe is our all time favourite and go to place, we swear by their pasta and desserts. We visited today to celebrate New Years and were utterly disappointed by the managements rude behaviour. My toddler who was rather cranky due to the cramped up space and crowd was being pacified by me and my husband as we took turns to take him for a walk outside the restaurant while the other continued to eat. In one such instance I was trying to distract him while showing him the Christmas decor (a teddy bear) kept near the dessert counter when someone from the management (I assume the owner) rudely took it away. I understand her worry of it being spoilt but I was quite mindful that my kid was gentle with it. Nevertheless she could have been polite and understanding instead of snatching it away and giving rude expressions. What icked me more than anything was the cold behaviour. We literally travel half way across town to visit this place. Is this why you charge service taxes for? Curious if your reaction would be same for any celebrity kid who visits your cafe? You guys really need to do better while serving and interacting with your customers.
