Fisherman’s Hook After hearing a good review about this place, I finally managed to go here for a Lunch a couple of days back and I really felt my decision was so right. The restaurant is small and cozy located in Kanchpada area Malad West. The entry is not so appealing but they have a decent seating place here. What we had Bombil Rawa Fry: It is mandatory for me to order Bombil Fry in Malawani restaurants. It will never disappoint you. Pomfret Tawa Fry: Very well marinated. Every bite of it was burst of flavors. Sagoti Thali: A complete thali comprised of Chicken Sagoti, three wadas, small bowl of rassa (Curry), small bowl of Sol Kadhi, Rice Plate, Salad and Papad. It was so delicious and chicken was tender and succulent. Though Sol Kadhi wasn’t that great and chicken should be cut in medium/ small sized portions. Surmai Thali: When its seafppd who doesn’t love Surmai?? This thali is comprised of Surmai Fry, Three Chapatis, Surmai Curry, Sol Kadhi, Rice Plate, Salad and Papad. It was fresh as well and the flavor lingered on my palate for long. Curry was thick, perfectly spiced and tanginess from Kokum hits you. Brownie: Perfectly set and chocolatey. If you are craving for homely and filling malvani cuisine, do visit this place at least once. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 P.S: This review is strictly depending on my personal experience.

Visited this place serve you delicious seafood and Malvani food. Previously it was a delivery kitchen and now they have started dine in with collaboration with other 3 three brand. The ambience is warm and comfortable which can accumulate around 40 people in all. The food was good in taste with quick service. We had, ✔ Surmai rawa dry: Fish is served with green chutney and garnished with lemon. The fish was well fried with delicious taste and taste. ****Highly recommended**** ✔ Pomfret tandoori: The well presented with tomatoes, chopped cabbage and green chutney. The pomfret was soft with Blends with green chutney. ✔ Chicken sagoti : The flavourful gravy with juicy chicken blends with rice and even roti. I love it's with rice. ✔Gulab jamun: Serve as dessert . The gulab jamun is good in taste. ✔ Chocolate sauce brownies: Brownies loaded with chocolate sauce was perfect for dessert. In overall, It's food place for try out some seafood with quick service!!! Surely try out and let me know your feedback!!!!

Visited their restaurant tonight for dinner. Ordered malwani chicken curry(made boneless on request) and bhaakri. Taste was very good and quantity was generous. The gulab jamuns were fresh and served piping hot. Service was great too and the owners themselves were there to ask us for feedback and greet us. Definitely coming back soon for more. Keep up the good service.

If u are a seafood lover...u just cannot miss this place. They have recently started their dine in and I had previously ordered food from this restaurant and I just loved d surmai tawa fry and pomfret tandoori . My favourite was the fish dum biryani. they also serve Fish thali which was good value for money. overall food just awesome.

had dinner there yesterday. we ordered different fish thalis and a mutton thali, all very tasty. bombil fry too was very good. service was very prompt and pleasing, with the owners at hand, seeing to our requirements. a very satisying meal and good dinner. will surely visit again and recommend to others too!

The place has great ambiance. The crowd is decent. The food is fresh and tha taste of the salmon was awesome. Highly rich in protein. Good for people who look healthy food in resturant. Great place to visit with friends and family.

I ordered for surmai thali. Just love the taste n food was very fresh n nice. Even tried the prawns ghee roast which was awesome. Will try new dishes next time.

Loved the fish thali!!! Awesome taste. Must try! Also their chicken tikka and bombil fry are outstanding. Perfect place for nonveg lovers

A relatively new place in the vicinity that serves some good sea food. Have ordered a couple of times earlier from here and was pleased. Had a Bombil craving last night so called for the Bombil fry. The fish was fresh but the taste was just about average. The green chutney though was excellent. Paired perfectly with the bombil.
