Gallops was on my bucketlist for a long time, and I wasn't sure if the food would live up to the hype. But it did, and how! We ordered their mushroom truffle soup, the renowned melba toast, galaouti kebabs, and yakhni pulao, fish tikka, and patthar ke kebab, along with two mocktails. I was not a fan of the patthar ke kebabs, and the fish tikka is similar to what you'd get anywhere else, but the hype for melba toast, galaouti kebabs, and yakhni pulao is real. I don't think any other places could compete for these dishes. The mushroom truffle soup was also a pleasant surprise. All in all, this is a place I wouldn't mind spending my money on, because the taste and quality, not to mention the pretty ambience, makes up for it!

Gallops is a very famous restaurant, therefore I had been wanting to go here for a while (after watching umpteen Instagram reels about the same). Now, we dined here for a late lunch, post 3 pm. Hardly 3 or 4 tables were occupied, the restaurant was pretty empty - which is why I don't understand the slow and lousy service. We ordered Saag Burrata, Vegetable Kofta Curry, Garlic Butter Naan and Wheat Roomali Roti.. They took over half an hour to serve the food. The Saag Burrata was served cold (the burrata cheese was cold) the saag barely lukewarm. The breads were cold.. only the Kofta Curry was piping hot. We didn't eat the saag (and they didn't charge us for it) Towards the end of our meal, the manager came and apologized for the same.. He even said he could replace it, but we declined as it was already past 4 pm then.. I know Burrata cheese can't be served warm, but it's definitely supposed to be served at room temperature, and this cheese was cold. Moreover the saag wasn't hot at all.. All I can say, the ambience is gorgeous, no doubt about that, but everything else left us disappointed. The Kofta Curry was the only saving grace!

I had an extremely disturbing experience at this restaurant. While eating my soup, I discovered what appeared to be rat droppings in the bowl. I had already consumed around 9–10 spoonfuls before noticing it. When I immediately asked the staff to call the chef to the table, instead of addressing the concern seriously, they first took the soup away. When they returned, they claimed it was “black bean,” then suggested it might be a “fly.” When I insisted they bring the soup back so we could verify it, they said they had already disposed of it. Only later did they finally admit that it was indeed rat droppings. This entire situation was deeply distressing, especially because I am currently pregnant. What made the experience even worse was the way it was handled — the attempt to dismiss and change explanations rather than take responsibility immediately. Food safety and hygiene are the most basic expectations at any restaurant. Finding rodent contamination in food is completely unacceptable, and the way this was handled showed a serious lack of accountability and concern for customer health. I hope the management takes immediate action regarding hygiene standards, pest control, and staff training so that no other customer has to go through such a horrifying experience. SICK!!!🤢

You completely ruined my anniversary dinner. I had booked an outdoor table almost 10 days in advance, but on arrival the booking was not found. We were told to sit inside and shift outside later if tables were available. We reached at 6:00 pm for our 6:30 pm booking to enjoy the view before dark, and were assured an outdoor table at 7:00 pm. We ordered a starter and a salad inside but were told food couldn’t be transferred outside once the table is available and area is opened. Even after finishing by 7:15 pm, we were kept waiting until finally a staff member informed us that kids are not allowed in outdoor seating — despite us entering with our child. Had this been clearly communicated earlier, we would never have wasted our special day at your restaurant.

This is the first time I am writing a negative review but I am forced to do this. I have never visited a worse restaurant than this. Extremely rude staff and service, ill mannered staff who dont know how to talk. We were never informed while reserving that kids are not allowed in the outside sitting and we had to sit inside, no support and accommodation for the stroller. There were literally mosquitoes biting all the time and when asked to solve it, the manager says they cant do anything. How bad can the hospitality be? Why are they even running the restaurant god knows! Will never ever recommend, DO NOT GO THIS PLACE AN RUIN YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

Most unhygienic place I have ever come across. The table we sat on had bugs on it. There was no salt in the starter they served us and the worst of all there was literal RAT FEACES in the soup they served to my pregnant sister. Which they blatantly lied about calling it a dead fly but later had to accept since we had proof. It's high time they work on their hygiene given the fact that there are multiple reviews having the same issues. It's just unacceptable.

worst service ever…the staff doesn’t know how to speak particularly Rakesh the manager…after closing the deal they throw curve balls and bully the clients. Plates get tampered with open….zero quality service. Before my review most other reviews have the same reviews. Very overrated as a place.

Very unhygienic service. Food is also bad and overpriced for what they actually serve. We ordered couple of appetisers and mocktails and left without eating

whats the point of so much hype on social media and marketing if no one even answers the phone, no platform has a table booking option. no call backs even.

Pathetic food especially the ones which are highlighted on instagram. Would recommend saving money or spending it some place that deserves it
