Most recommended - South Indian fare like Idlis and Dosas - all are good.. North Indian food is awesome - Mutter Masala sabji has become a hit amongst us. Pav Bhaji was superb Daal Khichdi, Curd rice turned out to be really good. Thumbs up to the fast service and awesome taste!

Good place to eat it. Have been coming here since my college days One of the few places which is open at 7.00am for breakfast. Love their upma. Tried out their paneer majedar and it was yumm

I must say that the food was absolutely delicious at Ganga Vihar. We ordered a variety of dishes including Idli, Medu Vada, Onion Utaapam, Cheese Pav Bhaji, Mushroom Pizza, Paneer Chilly, Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Dal Khichadi, Cheese Naan, Cheese Kulcha, Bread Butter, Masala Papad, and Caramel Custard. Each dish was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. The service at Ganga Vihar was also very nice. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The ambience of the restaurant was also satisfactory, with a comfortable and casual atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend Ganga Vihar to anyone looking for delicious South Indian food in the Matunga West area. The variety of dishes available and the quality of the food make it a great choice for a tasty meal.

Never ever try misal pav and triple schzwan rice.. only good for southindian menu and pav bhaji thats it.

"I'm extremely disappointed and disgusted with my recent visit to gangavihar (matunga). I ordered buttermilk, but what I got was a glass of horror. There was a cockroach floating in my butter milk! I was appalled and immediately lost my appetite. The lack of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen is alarming. How could something like this slip through? I demand better from a restaurant, especially one that claims to serve fresh and quality food. The management was apologetic, but it was too little, too late. I left the restaurant feeling sick to my stomach and with a serious concern for the food safety standards here. Until they take serious action to address these issues, I would not recommend Ganga vihar matunga west to anyone. A cockroach in my butter milk is a deal-breaker. *Avoid this place at all costs!*"

Disappointing experience!! Insect in the food. I recently dined at ganga vihar, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the presence of an insect in the food. Despite bringing it to the attention of the staff the response was not satisfactory. I expected better hygiene standards from the restaurant of this caliber. I hope the management takes the feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly

Had asked for Mysore sada in red chutney but got it green chutney. Usal pav was made of something else and not white watana. Idli served after 25 minutes of ordering that to a broken piece. Staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming and were not willing to own up to their mistakes.

The taste was so bad and not worth the prize also the base wae burn also in veg pizza there was not a good quentity of veggies it was so it would be the bad experience don't order any pizza from ganga vihar it very bad I am not satisfied at all😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Hot chocolate container is so empty. Rs. 250 is too pricely. Hardly 1/4th container is filled. Did not expect this from this restaurant.
