Near Asiatic Library in Fort, there’s a vintage bar and party spot tucked inside a 100+ year old heritage building, serving great food, solid drinks, and open till 1:30 AM. Welcome to George. The music here leans into crowd favourite tracks with a strong Bollywood vibe, especially as the night sets in and the energy starts picking up. The first floor is perfect for laid back scenes, come as you are, grab a drink, and ease into the evening with some good bar bites. And if you’re planning to sit outside, this is the kind of view you’re signing up for. Coming to the food, we tried a mix of their North Indian and Asian picks, and we’d definitely go back for the Fish Chilly, Murgh Musallam, and Murgh Methi Masala, plus we’re still thinking about their Herbal Passion. Getting here is simple, take a right from Asiatic Library, park near the State Bank of India exit and it’s just a short walk ahead, right opposite the Carma Showroom. This is George Restaurant and Bar in South Mumbai, so next time you’re looking for a spot that gets the vibe, food and music just right, you know where to go.

George Restaurant is one of those timeless Fort spots that just works. Open till 1:30 a.m., with happy hour drinks and multiple sections—live music, screenings, smoking zones—you can really pick your vibe here. The old-school Bombay feel, vintage interiors, and throwback playlist make it super nostalgic. Food-wise, don’t miss the chakna; it’s honestly the star. The tandoori starters and chicken katsu curry were also solid. Service can be slow when it’s crowded, but this is a place meant for lingering, not rushing. Perfect for a relaxed night out.

Loved the place, previously known as Miton. Really good food and service was spot on. the live band took us on a stroll down the memory lane, with nostalgic memories of the songs we used to enjoy during our school days. Ambience wise can be a bit brighter.

Overall food and drinks are good Issue with the bill items they add In Menu list item price is different rather than bill price. They was charging more than the listed price in menu for the item. Please check bill in detailed for each item price
