The Gold coin 🪙 restaurant is famous for its fine dining 🍽️ and North Indian 👳, Mughlai 🍢, chinese 🍲 and sea 🦀 food cuisine. The branch that we visited is in Tardeo and if you are coming by train 🚆 then you have to take taxi 🚕 from the station 🚉 (nearest railway 🚂 station is Grant Road/ Mumbai Central). The place is very economical 🤑 in terms of price and taste 👅 is really good. The ambience ✨ is as per fine dining family restaurant and it's colourful. There is one staff at the door 🚪 who will guide you with the table 🪑 and if you have any pre-bookings 📖. The staff are very attentive and helpful and neately dressed 🧑‍💼. There is no such concept of Male/Female washroom 🚽, it's unisex western toilet 🪠 and it's clean 🪥. Further, talking about the food items that we tried : 1. Rozali kebab 🍢 - As mughlai is one of their cuisine, I'll suggest you can try variety of kebab 🍢 options. In this boneless 🍗 chicken piece was filled with some 🥚 mashed egg fillings. It was really good. It's served along with green 💚 curd chutney but ask them for chutney without curd. 2. Butter chicken 🍛- If you are group of 3-4 then you can take one full quantity 🍲 it's enough and it's bit sweet as it's a butter 🧈 chicken 🍗. 3. Hyderabadi Biryani 🍚- It's green 💚 in colour you can ask them for more Sallam 🍲 at the time of ordering 🗣️ which makes it more good. You can definitely try Dum briyani as well as there was only 2 option for it. I did not find any good dessert option thus decided not to order it. I'll definitely suggest to go more with appetizers and towards the kebab 🍢 and tandoor item to explore some really good food. The whole expeirence was pretty great, the only thing I regret is that I was full and unable to explore more of an option with food.

Gold coin Tardeo is located in the very popular area of south Mumbai. They got bright and positive vibes. Loved the bright lighting of the dining area. They got beautiful walls with a big chandelier in between. Seating has mainly couches so yes it is super comfortable. The menu got excellent classic dishes. The bar has a few of the best cocktails and mocktails. The food menu got good variety available. Being an old and classical restaurant, their dishes were flavorful. Cosmopolitan (Cocktail) – a classic cocktail made with vodka, sweet n sour, cranberry juice and orange liquor, served in a martini glass. (5/5) Orange Mix Fizz (Mocktail) - A touch of basil and lime leaves, a fizzy drink made with orange bitters. Loved the balancing of flavors. (5/5) Chakori Kebab – Chicken chunks marinated in green herbs, especially in fenugreek, then cooked well in tandoor. Loved the margination it was flavorful. (5/5) Peri Peri Prawns – Prawns batter fried and tossed in peri peri sauce along with a few cubes of mix peppers. Loved the crunchiness of the prawns and the sauce was coated so well. (5/5) Mutton Rogan josh – A classical dish made in the most authentic way. Boneless mutton cubes cooked so well in thin traditional rogan josh gravy. The Doneness of the mutton was too good. I had garlic butter naan with it, which was just perfect. (5/5) Caramel custard- The best and my favorite dessert to try in a classic restaurant like this. It was superb.

This restaurant is too good to be true. I mean where should I start from? Let’s talk about food. Every meal I ordered was super delicious, tasty and made with utmost hygiene. I personally would recommend if you are a non-vegetarian go for prawns biryani and other non-vegetarian items, blindly. The quantity in non-veg was quite good not like other restaurants who serves 2 to 3 pieces. Being a Indian we are used to eating good amount of food which is value for money as well. The staff was super friendly, kind and attentive They even let me click pictures and even took my pictures. Cons : when I reached at this place, it was quite empty but within an hour at the lunchtime, it was fully packed with the regular customers. That too on weekday. So if you arrive little early or on time, you will definitely get seat. You can make out from the video. They also have cocktail mocktail and hard drinks. The manager kept asking us if the food is well prepared or do we want any changes in the preparation which is quite nice of him kept checking on us. Overall, this place is best for family friends and even small gathering.

A beautiful place to spend a quality time with your loved ones. The place is located in Tardeo. The ambience is super amazing with a great service. In food we had the peri peri chicken an oriental fusion which was very good then we had the chicken hazari kebab which was super tasty loved it. Drinks are aslo nice we had tang bang and million bul in mocktail. Moving to main course we had the Murgh Dhaniya Adraki which was best with cheese garlic naan. We also had the chicken canoline which was super tasty. Lastly to conclude our meal we had the caramel custard which was so good loved it. Coming soon again.

I came here with my friends for a dinner. The place is fantastic we all liked their ambience which was very nice. The food we had was lovely also the drinks were refreshing. The service was very quick and fast. Next time will come with our family here.

A lovely place to enjoy a sumptuous meal with your family and friends, Good ambience. Excellent service by Inder kumar, Vishwanath and team. The food was delicious and tasty. On weekends you need to book a table in advance if you are a big group.

EXTREMELY BAD FOOD WAS SENT TO ME TODAY I ASKED THE ORDER TAKER THAT I WANT LAYERED BIRYANI… HE SENT ME MIX BIRYANI… I SPECIFICALLY ASKED HIM NOT TO SEND MIX BIRYANI WASTE OF MY MONEY AS I ORDERED 2 SO RS 600 WASTED TANDOORI CHICKEN ALL THE MASALA IS RAW WASTE OF TOTAL MONEY RS 882 GUYS DO NOT GO HERE AS THEY LIE TO MAKE SALES I WANT MY REFUND TAKE YOUR FOOD BACK

Very bad mexican food. if u cant understand a continental flavour, please do not put an underresearched Menu item. worst Quesedilla and Enchiladas ever... Especially Enchiladas... couldn't finish even

The concierge is way too arrogant, non attentive, and least interested in any assistance. Also very impatient and doesn't listen what the guests are saying and argues at lot.
