By seeing how much success Grandma has found through her café. Grandpa wanted to start something of his own. Grandpa has travelled all around the world and loves to try different alcohol everywhere. Hence he has created a place in Mumbai called @grandpasdenindia where you can experience drinks from all around the world. 1.Royal Tea Service 🇬🇧 Mix of five of his favourite spirits steeped in a teapot infused with hibiscus tea. 2. Swaasdeka 🇹🇭 all the way from Thailand a vodka based drink. 3.the Ethiopian compass 🇪🇹 land most famous for coffee. Hence in this drink coffee infused with some vodka. 4. Patiala Punch 🇮🇳 Serving for 2. After travelling everywhere grandpa headed to our very own Punjab and made this drink 5 spice infused with whiskey and topped with kashmiri kava. 5.The french connection 🇫🇷 This drink is the tribute to France where grandpa confessed his love to grandma. It looks beautiful and tastes even better. Flag coloured ice paired with gin. This place is very exciting since you can enjoy grandmas yummy food along with some tasty alcohol. Overall I had an amazing experience at the place. And the ambience is set according to the various countries. Makes it a perfect spot for date nights.

Drinks - 8/10 Service - 10/10 Ambiance - 9/10 VFM - 10/10 What stands out - The travel themed cocktails Came here with a bunch of friends on a weeknight after work. The den is located inside grnadmamas cafe with the idea being that grandpa bas traveled the world and has curated his best cocktails from around the globe. Each cocktail has a story about it. The food menu is of gramamas cafe. Every cocktail is uniquely made keeping in mind the speciality of the region it comes from. Each story is fascinating. The concept is outstanding. Some of those cocktails were fabulous like La Tomatina from Spain while some were average like the French connection. Everything is to the point but just slightly lacking in the core offerings that is the cocktails. We called for the following 1. La Tomatina - 10/10 2. Royal tea service - 8/10 3. Patiala Punch - 7/10 4. The French connection - 6/10 5. Cuban old fashion - 10/10 6. The day of the dead - 9/10 All in all a wonderful concept and a must try. Loved the theme.

Grandpa’s Den as the name goes has an awesomely cosy setting.. that’d take you to the setting of a mountain cabin. Food is bang on scrumptious. Loved the watermelon and bazil drink

Grandpa’s Den is Mumbai’s first Travel themed Cocktail Bar where customers get to enjoy personalised cocktails based on Grandpa’s travel experiences throughout the globe. Grandpa’s Den is tucked away in a corner inside Grandmama’s Cafe @ High Street Phoenix Mall. We ordered many cocktails but my favourite 😍 ones were as follows :- * The French Connection Grandpa expresses his love for Grandmama under the iconic ‘Eiffel Tower’ in true French style by saying ‘Je Taime’ The drink showcases their love & consists of Berry & Nut Flavoured ice cubes which represents the colour of France’s Flag. These coloured ice cubes blend well with Gin & Tonic and taste nice 😊 * La Tomatina - DIY Bloody Mary This drink relates to his travel experience in Spain where he attended the epic tomatino festival which made him feel alive & energetic. A spicy cocktail combining of Vodka, tomato juice, Tabasco sauce, lime juice & some secret ingredients. Spicy 🥵 🤪 * The Ethiopian Compass :- Grandpa’s hunting expedition across the African Continent made him witness the Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony which gave him the idea for this drink. A mix of Ethiopian coffee espresso infused with vodka & layered with vanilla foam on top. A must for espresso lovers 😍 * Patiala Punch ( Serves 2 people ) Grandpa travelled the world & tasted various cocktails but his punjabi heart was unsatisfied until he returned to Punjab & had a Patiala Punch. He was so happy to find his favourite drink that he made it for grandmama & himself to drink together. His signature 5 spice infused with whiskey & topped with orange with Kashmiri Kahwa. Pee ke karo Balle Balle 😜 The other cocktails we tried were The Day of the Dead - Mexico Cuban Old Fashioned - Cuba The Great Italian Pitcher - Italy Royal Tea service - England FOOD Grandmama’s masala fries Patatas Bravas Grandmama’s Special Veg Pizza Grandpa’s den offers personalised cocktails which are reasonably priced for Rs 320-360/- which is great considering it’s located inside high street Phoenix mall. Loved most of their cocktails but some could definitely improve IMO. Alcohol quotient could increase & ice cube quantity needs to decrease as it dilutes the drink a lot. Overall Grandpa’s den is a paradise for cocktails lovers & should be tried just for it’s unique cocktail experience it brings to mumbai. Grandmama’s Cafe stole our hearts with delicious food, cute, decorative interiors & lively ambience. Now it’s Grandpa’s turn to spoil his customers with signature cocktails based on his travel experiences from various parts of the world @ decent prices. Together they are a killer combination who are cute, classy & extremely loveable 😍

🔹Grandpa's Den. 🔹Mumbai's first travel themed cocktail bar is newly opened at Mumbai's one of prime mall's High Street Phoenix Lower Parel. It is at walking distance from Lower parel railway station for about 10 min. It is located inside the Grandmama's Cafe. The ambience is very great and has so many interesting things in one place, from seating to n number of decorations and so are their travel inspired cocktails. 🔹Grandpa's Den is the place where you will get the cocktails from all over the world as they are specialized in drinks. They have few options in food but overall it is great and cozy place. With Live sports screening on big screen makes it best place to hang out with friends and family. 🔻Drinks:- ▪️Sawasdeeka-- This is a cocktail having pineapple base with a lot of ice with vodka in it. Having sour and bit spicy taste, all together it is perfect drink for a wonderful night. ▪️The Ethiopian Compass--This is coffee based cocktail which people like or may not like personally. It is a very different fusion so gave it a try and it was good. 🔻Appetizers:- ▪️Chicken Croquettes-- One of the best chicken starters I've ever had. Finely chopped chicken with a lot of spices and having strong aromatic flavors with crispy cover outside. It is very delicious .This is a must try. 🔻Main course:- ▪️Grandmama's special veg pizza-- Yummy….. One word to describe this pizza different variety of veggies like bell peppers, onions, jalapeños etc covered with yummy cheese. 🔻Overall rating:- ▪️Food:-4/5 ▪️Service:-4/5 ▪️Ambience:-4.2/5

The name itself suggests, what this place could be like. Grandpas den, located in Phoenix mall inside Grandmamas Cafe is easy to locate through maps and Zomato directions. This Bar comes with a unique concept that reflects in their Menu. Grandpas den serves 12 Cocktails which are inspired by the journey/adventures from Grandpas travel around the World. The concept will definitely make you eager & interested in visiting this place, but however their Cocktails lack that wow element. Some are a big hit and some a big miss! Because there’s no in between in Cocktails. You either like it too much or you get disappointed with it. The food is quite similar to that of Grandmamas cafe, because they have the same kitchen. However, what I loved the most was the decor which was truly dark and travel inspired. They even have live sports screening, which is definitely ideal for gang of boys & girls who want to sip on their Cocktails, grab bar bites and enjoy their sports screenings with friends.

Grandpa’s Den- India’s very own Travel –themed cocktail bar! An intimate plush cocktail lounge, inside Grandmama at Phoenix high street, boasts of 12 delicious & hand crafted cocktail menu, from around the world, so drink up some culture! As Every drink & artefacts in the room narrates his travel memories. Come share his experiences in the form of exquisitely created cocktails & get ready to be transported back to an era, long gone by. Cocktails were potent & well presented, Royal Tea Service - five spirits steeped in a teapot infused with hibiscus tea. Sawasdeeka - vodka infused bangkok's culture of sweet, sour & spicy. Oktoberfest - homemade marmalade muddled with whisky, paired with hearty beer & topped with vanilla head. Nibbles Trash Can Nachos - The presentation was great but that did not meet the taste. From what we felt, the cheese sauce needs to be worked upon. Ping Pong Cottage Cheese - panko herb crushed cottage cheese balls served with marinated sauce. This one went well with the sauce. Patatas Bravas - was decent & the best dish we had for the night. Hummus - served with pita was very well presented but tasted very bland, the flavour was missing. Crystal Dumplings - steamed vegetables dumplings with a chilli oil dip, were really good, should try them. Jalapeno Mac & Cheese Sticks - bite-sized fingers, they were way too oily, should hive them a miss. Overall our experience was okish. I guess we were expecting a bit more, given the association with Grandmama, coz we absolutely love that place.

Not every place has a story to tell. Grandpas Den is a new place in town located inside the Grandmama's Cafe in High Street Phoenix Lower Parel. Its amazing to hear the stories where the Grandpa visited and brought to us the taste from different parts of the world.  It is a dark intimate cocktail bar with 12 new cocktails to begin with. The places shares food menu with that of Grand mama's Cafe. Which means you get to enjoy the exciting menu along with scintillating cocktails from Grandpas Den.  What we tried : 1. French Connection 2. The Day of the Dead 3. When We Met 4. Cuban Old Fashioned 5. Sawasdeeka 6. Patiala Punch 1. Patatas Bravas 2. Chicken Croquettes Overall the experience was good. The place had Live IPL Screening. The cocktails were good but somehow I feel the quantity of ice cubes they added took away the taste. When We Met & Sawasdeeka were my favourite.
