While Gypsy Chinese offers excellent food, the service needs improvement. After a 30-minute wait for a table, we felt rushed to place our entire order immediately. When ordering the main course our server, Mr. FM questioned our main course choice by asking if we were “sure” and had “looked at the ingredients properly,” despite having recommended the dish himself. This felt unprofessional and detracted from our overall enjoyment of the meal.

Worst experience ever. The staff kept telling everyone “1 hour for everyone” while making us wait endlessly. No honesty, no respect for customers’ time. If you can’t manage crowd take proper reservations and mobile numbers of people and simply call them if their tables are going to available Apparently, time works differently in this restaurant. Zero transparency, zero professionalism. The food is excellent but the reservation Staff needs training in basic communication. Waste of time and patience. Rude and unapologetic staff. Zero courtesy, zero professionalism. Never visiting again and not even recommending anyone.

This hotel was recommended by many people and hence decided to have lunch here today. I am a vegetarian and hence had ordered Veg Wanton and the dish was served fairly quickly. We had just started eating it when my daughter highlighted that it was non-veg dish. We brought this to the notice of the waiter and he ordered a veg one which we cancelled. The Owners were sitting just behind our table and the waiter did inform the owner but to our surprise not a word of apology from any one. Seems they have been accustomed to such mistakes in past and don't care anymore. When the bill was served they shamelessly charged for service fees also. I paid the entire charges and didn't create any chaos there to avoid bad experience for others. This is and was my worst restaurant experience till now. For all those of you intending to have food here please get the food checked before you start eating and if you can avoid please avoid going here altogether.

the quality of food is really bad. the family fell ill after eating there. the food has high amount of soda which is why most likely we felt immense bloating and stomach issues. the chicken and prawns was rubbery and orange chicken literally looked like it was dipped in honey with no other taste. When there was no good restaurant in dadar, this worked. but now such casual attitude towards food is unacceptable. will never visit again

Writing this while sitting in the restaurant. The waiters have no knowledge of the dishes and vere very rude and not suggesting any that suits my allergies. Service needs a lots of improvement. Food is just OK. Better to eat at a restaurant nearby as its over priced. Drinks will cost a fortune and taste shit. Please avoid this place

We went there on a Saturday night, with family of 9 people, and after a wait of over 30 mins we got a table. The staff were al courteous but when it comes to the food, it was over priced and under seasoned. We order over 12 dishes and none of the dishes was tasteful. They are only running on their brandname and food is bad!

Staff is ill-mannered. We asked for table change they said that ask them to sit outside. No respect how to treat customers and are showcasing good ambience for no reason. Food is meant to be served with positive vibes - the attitude of the staff is so ignorant. Not suggesting to visit this place.

Every dish was black and full of soya now lets talk about the WARM in the clclear soup so there was a WARM on the cabbage in the soup on the next table where we ( wife my child and me ) were sitting what else i would say when u find a warm i will never go ir take sny if my mates or family

this place is overhyped... had flies and mosquitoes... food taste is average... it was a disappointing experience for us.
