The place has a good vibe and the food is decent. The service started well but then it just kept deteriorating. We had to wait 25 min for our main course, had to ask the server three times for water, the wait for bill was again 20 minutes. The servers were not paying attention to the tables to check for the water or a further order, despite the restaurant not being full. The food is worth going again but the service will be a deterrent for repeat customers.

⭐ ☆ ☆☆☆ (1/5) I had been looking forward to dining at Hearth, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to the hype. The ambience is pleasant, and the restaurant certainly has a beautiful setting, but for me, service is just as important as the food—and this is where the experience fell short. I joined my friends a little late for dinner. Before I arrived, they had ordered a dish that was served with a non-vegetarian sauce despite the table being Jain vegetarian. To the restaurant's credit, they did not charge for the dish once the mistake was identified. However, this is a serious oversight, especially considering my friends had already tasted it before realizing something wasn't right. Unfortunately, the confusion continued throughout the evening. I specifically requested Jain chilli oil/sauce but was served garlic chilli oil instead. Later, when I enquired whether a salad was Jain, one staff member confidently told me it was "Jain by default." However, another waiter who had actually served the dish clarified that it contained garlic and was not Jain. Had I relied on the first answer, I would have unknowingly eaten something I avoid. This inconsistency in communication between the staff was disappointing and concerning. Dessert was another letdown. Of the two vegetarian options, one contained beetroot, so I ordered the other. After waiting, I was informed that it wasn't available. One final observation: the quotes printed on the backs of the staff uniforms include messages implying that guests' tips fund their therapy. While intended to be humorous, I personally found them to come across as an indirect prompt for tipping. Good service naturally earns appreciation—it shouldn't feel suggested through messaging. Hearth has an attractive space and clearly aims to deliver a premium dining experience, but for guests with strict dietary preferences such as Jain food, accuracy and consistency are non-negotiable. I hope the restaurant strengthens its staff training and communication because these are details that matter far more than presentation.

The staff obligingly gave us the table we wanted though I did have a booking and had paid their reservation fee. But that was the only good thing. We had a table next to the dj and it was impossible to even hear your own breathe. We spent the evening shouting at each other. Then came the drinks. A soft drink beverage was priced at ₹400/-? I’m not a cheap person but this was just robbery in my opinion. When a restaurant sees the need to make money and 400% profit on resale makes me feel like they don’t trust their own food. Needless to say neither of us ordered a drink. Then came the food. OMG I have no words. It was the worst meal of my entire life. The kale and pomelo salad was edible. With the limboo and honey as dressing I was told. But at least it was nice. The chilli crab pizza was stinking of smelly crab meat. We had requested the poached egg on the side but that was not done. My friend ordered a steak which he e fed up eating with a spoon. No steak knife was given and was horrendous. I ordered a curry with paratha. The paratha was a thing I could have reheated at home from a frozen bag. The curry had 8 tiny morsels of meat and tasted like a spoonful of some masala with canned or tetrapack coconut milk. Texture just like pulverised gravy. Just literally liquid. No complexity in taste or texture. And finally like fools my friend ordered a dark chocolate and tamarind cake with beetroot Icecream. I’ve had better cake at the Willingdon club or a roadside bakery. The beetroot Icecream was tasteless. The bill was a whopping close to ₹6000/- and I was so furious that we had suffered through this so called high end restaurant. Caveat emptor! Buyer be warned!
