What an exhilarating experience to dine at Hearth, the thrilling new venture launched by the visionary chef behind Burnt Ends in Singapore and Ekka in Mumbai! The culinary journey began with the delectable prawn and crab sheek, a true delight. Next, the baked potato gratin stole the show, a dish that truly sparkled. The mini Nizam pizza that followed, featuring Haleem and chicken sheekh sausage, was an unforgettable treat. For the main course, the special tiger prawn with Goan poi was a masterful creation that exceeded expectations. Rounding off the meal, the desserts were a sweet finale - the fruit custard with jelly was lovely, while the Hearth s'mores, though delightful, hinted at immense potential for perfection. This fantastic new Mumbai gem shines bright with its vibrant atmosphere, impeccable service, and sublime music, making it an absolute must-visit, with the minor refinement needed in desserts to make it absolutely flawless. Meal for 3 was 8000 including alcohol

Chose Hearth for our anniversary dinner date. Loved every minute spent here as everything adds to the experience. The open kitchen that comes to life as the tables get fuller. The warm and attentive service. The beautiful bar that adds to the ambience and then the food. Crab & prawn seekh kebab was the best dish of the evening. The dry prawn hits the right spots. The stracciatela & stone fruit salad was mopped up with their in house sourdough toast. The charcuterie board was a personal favorite. All of it made in-house, special mention to the black forest ham. I wish the short rib mac-n-cheese was more creamy. We found it a little stodgy for our liking. Also, the bone marrow had gone to far. Closed the meal with strawberry churro, one of the finest desserts have had. The texture of the ice cream unbelievable! The guava picante was enjoyable but the hot toddy left a lot to be desired. I cant wait to go back again and try the other food on the menu.

At a time when barbecue is often equated with excess—heavy sauces, aggressive smoke, and unapologetic indulgence—Hearth on the First takes a different, more cerebral path. It is, in every sense, a progressive barbecue restaurant: one that respects tradition without being bound by it. The experience begins not with spectacle, but with intention. The open-hearth concept is not merely aesthetic; it informs the entire menu. Fire here is treated as an ingredient—coaxed, controlled, and calibrated to draw out nuance rather than dominate. You taste wood, yes, but more importantly, you taste what the wood reveals. We had the hearth stir fry the podi chicken and the Nizami pie was out of the world .

I can’t stop eating the pizza!!” — this is exactly what my kids said while having their food 😊 Absolutely fantastic pumpkin & focaccia, bucatini cacio e pepe, and the pizzas were truly delectable. A solid 10/10 rating for the pizzas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Compliments to the team — a wonderful Lunch experience! 🍕✨

The food was great, as was the ambience. It was very cold though in the restaurant; they could turn down the a/c a bit. And the portion sizes (especially for the sides) were very small.

Food is heavily on the salty side. Pretty much every other dish was high on salt.

service and vibe were great but food left a lot to be desired. seems like the menu is confused. not sure what the cuisine is but was finding it difficult to pair similar flavours. had 3 different cuisines within 3 courses. food was also super average, overpriced and unsatisfying. flavours are all over the place. one of the dishes we ordered had inconsistent seasoning across bites. sad because we had high hopes from this place after visiting HOM which was streets better. we went to rameshwaram after an entire meal as we didn't want to start our weekend on a disappointing note.
