This place has always felt like home to me. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid—whether it was birthdays, family get-togethers, or spontaneous little celebrations. Over the years, one thing that’s remained constant is the quality—of both the food and the ambience. It's rare to find a place that stands the test of time so gracefully. Truly one of the finest dining experiences in Chembur, and if you're looking to turn any special day into a grand celebration, this is exactly where you need to be.

Service too slow.. before our soup and papad.. starter had come. Manager not at all helpful. I have been coming here since so many tears but service has degraded. Also there were hair in my soup.

I recently dined at Grand Central, and while the food was decent, the overall experience was marred by frustratingly slow service and a complete lack of communication from the staff. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that the restaurant was understaffed or poorly managed. Our server took an unusually long time to take our order, and the wait for our food was excessive—over an hour for a simple meal, which is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. What made the experience particularly disappointing was the staff’s failure to inform us about the delays. At no point did anyone acknowledge the wait time, offer an explanation, or provide an estimated timeframe for when our food would arrive. The lack of transparency and disregard for customer experience was glaring. While the food, when it finally arrived, was satisfactory, it wasn’t exceptional enough to justify the wait or overshadow the poor service. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and there was no effort to check in with us during the wait. I hope the management addresses these issues, as timely service and clear communication are basic expectations for any dining establishment. Unfortunately, this experience left much to be desired, and I’m hesitant to return unless significant improvements are made.

Absolutely terrible experience at Grand Central Restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food, and when we politely asked the staff about the delay, we were met with rude, dismissive attitudes. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a simple apology, they tried to cover it up by claiming they had informed us about the wait time earlier—which is a flat-out lie. No one mentioned any delay when we placed our order. The level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty was appalling. If you’re looking for a place that values its customers, this is not it. Avoid at all costs.

paneer dish was found to be stale..and very oily too..paneer didh looked very dull..even the chicken tikka biryani was bad in taste and wasn't served hot..very very disappointing experience..no repeat value..

rubbish restaurant,had to wait 1.30 hours for placing order, services is slow,food is average nothing to write about,not recommended restaurant 😕
