The go to place in powai for an idli dosa type snacky meal. Good comfort food at reaonable prices. They have been around for decades and keep doing what they do best, serving the manglorean-mumbai style south indian snacks in a comfortable place at decent prices.

Prompt service, generous portion size, good food! We had misal pav, pav bhaji, medu vada and filter coffee. We were not disappointed!

On our way home, we visited Laxmi Next Pure Veg restaurant, which is located on the service road opposite to IIT. Although they had parking space available, their watchmen were not friendly and didn't allow anyone to park inside. However, we managed to park inside anyway. It's not recommended to park on the road as buses also pass through that service road. The restaurant has two sections - AC and Non-AC. Since the AC section had a long waiting time, we opted for the Non-AC section, which had both inside and outside seating areas. The restaurant had a large crowd, both offline and online customers, and the staff was busy but still courteous and attentive. We received our food on time, which was freshly prepared. We started with the Laxmi Special Soup, which was good, but the garlic was a bit too much. For the main course, we ordered Rava masala Dosa, Methi Matar Malai Veg with Tandoori Roti, and Roasted Papad. The dosa was crispy and delicious, just as we had requested. The Methi Matar Malai Veg is a must-try dish, as it was incredibly delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but the only downside was the rude behavior of the watchmen.

VERY HIGH PRICE RISE IN MENU RECENTLY- Laxmi Next restaurant has recently increaed the prices of entire menu by almost 25% last month. This is very high increase. For example I was surprised to see Veg Fried Rice that I ordered recently increased by Rs. 40. That is too much. Veg Kadai in dine-in in A/C used to be Rs. 160, now costs Rs. 205. This is absolutely not good Laxmi Next. Why such a sharpe rise? I like many others have reduced ordering or dining-in at Laxmi since price increase like this. All prices are before GST.

This place has 2 sections. 1 is air conditioned and another non ac. Ac has waiting on weekends. Food has massive variety of dishes and people mostly were eating pao bhaji and pizza. I tried veg makhanwala, which was good. Naan was also nice. Fresh lime soda was pathetic. Gadbad ice cream was okay but overpriced. 3 scoop ice cream at 140 is much at such place.

Expect delays & frequent blips in service. Dal fry was the only saving grace while a simple bhindi, mushroom baby corn are big let downs & were sweet. They definitely have fake reviews.

The waiters don't give right information. Don't have their ice cream or falooda. They give complete melted ice-cream. When you tell them they don't acknowledge it.

owner or staff ka attitude bahut bekar hai. Saturday Sunday ya peak hours main bhul kar bhi mat jaana. bahut hi ghatiya service or khaana hai.
