Venue : Hotel Samadhan, Khopat Time : 3:00 pm Date 17th April, 2017 This was my fathers treat day since we had been working hard for the past couple of days! My sad has proven to be a resource rich person for a foodie. He knows in and outs of the best places to eat. He suggested that we go to Hotel Samadhan So a little bit about the place... It is situated smack bang in the middle of the road and is one of the oldest landmarks of thane (also one of the oldest restaurants in thane). It has been passed on from generations together (the 4th generation is now incharge). The lower level houses the vegetarian part of the hotel (but who is in interested in that?). So but naturally I beelined towards the upper part (housing the non vegetarian part). The place is really cozy and is mostly visited by people form the Thane court (did I mention it is near the court naka? Well now I have). Nice long benches to rest upon and a precise menu offering. Ordered the kheema thali for my dad and mutton (boneless, duh!?) for me. The thali is served with 1 mutton curry, 1 curry (rassa), 1sol kadhi, 1 tandul bhakri (jowari bhakri available as well), rice, lemon slice, a piece of onion and THECHA (pronounced with a hard T). So for those who don't know what Thecha is... Its basically a coarse paste of hot 🔥 green chillies, and salt. Just sets the tongue on fire. Okay... Before I deviate more... MUTTON was succulent! Just perfect. The meat was leaving the bone as soon as I tried to pick the meat up! Both were insanely spicy (I like! I like!) but the effect was minimized with the bhakri (try mutton vada if you can). KHEEM was almost on the same lines with the Mutton. But was spiced mildly. Not a huge load of spice went in there which I liked and loved! Ordered an extra bhakri just for another taste of the gravy (ask for a thick extra gravy) ALL IN ALL for a foodie with an insane amount of appetite, no limits to trying spicy food... This is is the place to go! Not to forget this place is really good value for money! Will visit again for sure! Thanks Hotel Samadhan! {uid:2325070}

Veg n non veg food r awesome . But baingan masala in veg tastes awesome n chicken fry in non veg is marvellous . The quantity is sufficient for one guy to eat at cheaper rates . As the hotel is old n there r well experienced chef . Therefore it is a best place for lunch in Thane .

Samadhan is located near the court naka area in Thane West and is one of the favourites of people who have once had their food here. Their non vegetarian options are totally palatable, be it the sea food or mutton or chicken. It's easy on your pockets as well.

Samadhan is the oldest non-vegetarian Maharashtrian food restaurant in Thane. They have maintained their best quality food Taste through out years. Good ambience and very good services. Excellent food specially if you will try fish.

09/12/2018 Visiting Hotel Samadhan with a few friends for lunch. Ordered Mutton Thali. It's good. Not great. Includes bhakri, rice, Mutton masala, a spicy curry, solkadi, and rice. As mentioned earlier, it's good in taste. Nothing that makes my tastebuds applause. By the looks of it, this place will look like any other random restaurant serving lunch plates to working people of nearby vicinity. Technically, it is! But the food is no where near average typical food we get served at such restaurants. Hotel Samadhan actually gave me a lot of 'Samadhan' (Hindi/Marathi for Satisfaction) by the way they prepare thier food. Rich Non-Veg menu with a lot of 'Today's Special' dishes that can make you crave. Ordered a few dishes like Biryani & Keema Pav and they tasted much better than a lot of stuff I've tried elsewhere. One thing that they can do better is maintaining consistency. Water is served in copper mugs but food in stainlrss steel. It kind of steals the charm!

Samadhan is good in terms of money and quantity. You get good variety of non veg food here. Kheema is really delicious and it seems meat was actually very fresh not like other places. Only thing I didn't like was utensils used to serve food.
₹450 for two
North Indian, Maharashtrian
