Loved their Dal Khichdi. Too good. Their Mysore Masala Dosa is also yummy, enough for 2 people. Low budget, pocket friendly ₹350 for two to have a good meal. Recommend this place! 🤗

Great Options in Veg Biryani and Pulav. Do try the Hyderabadi Biryani once. Kashmiri Biryani is also very nice. They have some great options in South Indian Dishes as well.

I went to this place for a group lunch. They are primarily a south indian outlet in the danpara area of khar. Not a great locality but the outlet was fine. I was raining outside, so we decided to go for some warm dosas and local food. Ambience: Not the best, but they have a separate AC room for seating. Also, since they are not primarily built for tourists but locals, it is a decent place to eat out. Food: We ordered poori bhaji, onion tomato uttapam, sambhar vada, butter sada dosa, cheese rava dosa and rava dosa and chaach. The food was decent and quantity was really enough. Presentation however needs to improve. Service: The service was really good. The person serving us took great care of the table. The table had all enough napkins and cutlery was promptly provided. Cost: It is a very economical plaace to eat. We were 6 people and it costed us a little over 700 bucks. Overall: If you happen to be in khar area and are craving some south indian food you should definitely consider. However do not just plan a dine out for visiting this place. It is a decent average place.

Went there for a lunch with my friends and we liked the place and the food. I had onion-tomato uthappam, my friends had poori bhaji and butter masala dosa. Unfortunately, I don't have the picture but the quantity is good. Sambhar was little sweet which I didn't like but the coconut chutney compensated it well. I also had chaas and it was too watery but tasted well.

We ordered Hyderabadi biryani which was good and tasty ,,good for veg food i visited different places where veg food tastes awesome then this but this place is quiet good thanks

Warm regards, Team Zomato " This particular restaurant Hotel Samudra, has been in-consistent in following order instructions, despite the fact that I have placed the same orders from them previously also. & despite being ALMOST like a regular customer they have NOT taken me seriously & as a result refunds have been provided by Team Zomato in their case. They'll follow your order instructions at times but NOT on a consistent basis. Hence, if you want to order order basic items, that do NOT require much customisations , such as to prepare the order as Jain, No Chillies, No Spices, etc.

Ordered Chole Bhatura from Hotel Samudra via Swiggy. Generally eateries around Bandra and Khar have delicious well cooked food. Hence was expecting a great meal. But was in for a rude gastric shock. The Bhatura was just fine. The Chole was hard and messy. The gravy was another disaster in itself. It was an oily mass of masala and what not and found few bits of cream. Did not have the courage to go beyond a couple of bites. I will not muster courage to order from this place for a long time now. Hope the dish was an issue and not the restaurant.

Today i ordered veg triple schezwan. First of all delivery came late and then the taste for the food was pathetic....not acceptable at all. Please never order chinese food from this restaurant. When we tried to contact them for the quality and taste of the food, they responded saying we will call you back. We didn't receive any call. If they cannot handle criticism, then they should not be in the service industry.

I ordered the idli vada mix and puri bhaji and I must say it was very bad. The vada and idli were completely stale like it was made the previous night and kept. The bhaji of the puri bhaji was tasteless and it was like eating bland bhaji with puris. I recommend no one order from this place.

Restaurant claims to be pure veg on the Zomato but it has non vegetarian items tooo...☹️ disappointed by The veg biryani ordered by friend from here as it was not good at all ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
