Visited Houdini, Lower Parel and honestly, it’s much more than just a meal, it’s an experience. The space is beautifully done, inspired by the legendary illusionist Harry Houdini, with dark, dramatic interiors and a very immersive vibe. Perfect for a night out if you enjoy places that feel a little theatrical and different. Food-wise, we started with the Maharashtrian Mezze, which was flavourful and well-balanced. The Edamame Houdini Money Bag and Avocado Tartare stood out for their creativity, while the Flaming Hot Crunchy Sushi and Blue Pea Asparagus Tempura were crispy, fun, and packed with flavour. For mains, the Mountain Curry with Jasmine Rice was comforting and rich was a great choice if you like soulful Indian flavours. We also tried the Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza, which had a light crust and fresh toppings, done just right. Their cocktails deserve a special mention theatrical presentation, well-crafted, and definitely one of the highlights of the evening. Overall, great ambience, innovative food, and a vibe that makes you want to come back. Slightly on the pricier side, but worth it for the experience. Would definitely recommend for celebrations or a weekend night out. PS: They have live mentalist on Saturdays and DJ nights on Fridays, so sort your weekend scene here at Houdini :)

Had a great time at Mumbai’s newest bar named after the lengendary illusionist and escape artist. Cocktails, from the fruity and sweet tropical renditions to the bitter and spirit forward for the matured palates, the cocktail lists is designed to satisfy most palates. From Gin to Mezcal ..from bitter to sweet. I loved the more experimental cheese and blueberry drink, relatively dry but fruity and the hot cider made with dark rum to pair with my chocolate tart. The food is global, from crisp edamame bags to fiery sushi to thecha hummus and more .. most dishes have the Houdini twist but they are soulful. We loved the Gnocchi in coriander spinach pesto and the ravioli with mushroom crème. The pizzas are sour dough if you love the Neapolitan style .. I do. Overall the f&b ticks the boxes and the crimson interiors makes the place very warm and calming. So go find your escape ..

I would’ve loved to keep this place hush-hush, but it’s way too good not to share. Houdini was absolutely worth it. Ambience, check. Pricing, check. Vibe, definitely. It’s newly opened, so the crowd is still minimal for now. A small, upward, chill restaurant that instantly feels cozy yet cool. The food genuinely impressed me. The Philadelphia sushi and buffalo mozzarella pizza were standouts. And the cocktails—insanely good. That’s it, no overhyping, just a solid experience. 4.5/5 for a first visit and service.

Went with my boss to give her a good farewell. We both loved looking at the interesting paintings. And the food was amazing. We especially loved the eclair samosa soup and the Rachel quinoa green bowl. The kashmiri kebab were much bigger in serving than I anticipated, which I think is never bad. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

It’s a new place, nice ambience however the hype is not worth, the drinks are just usual and nothing what the internet tells you… the staff is making a lot of effort to provide the best service which is really sweet! Deekshant at the bar counter was working really hard and doing his best! Good food I would rate it 3/5 but a little overpriced. I had a good time hope you have it too!

The drinks were either bitter or sour. same with the food.. nachos were too sour. khari chicken was suppose to be boneless i found a bone* (dangerous). padthai noodle sweet overpowered spice. Sushi was too thick and big to put in mouth. The service was amazing.
