Had a really lovely experience at Houdini, especially because we visited for their Mentalism Evening. The place beautifully captures the Houdini theme with dramatic interiors, moody lighting and some really interesting old world frames and decor. It has a fun, lively vibe with good music, making it a great place for an evening out with friends or family. The combination of food, drinks and live entertainment makes it feel like more than just a regular dinner. Coming to the food, we tried quite a few dishes and there was a nice variety. The Flaming Hot Crunchy Sushi was a fun take on sushi, with avocado and cucumber, a lovely crunch from the Cheetos and a Thousand Island mayo drizzle. The combination of textures made it quite enjoyable. The Edamame Houdini Money Bag was one of the more interesting small plates. It had potato flakes, wok-tossed Chinese cabbage and glass noodles, paired with spicy kairi (raw mango) and pineapple sauce. The sweet, spicy and tangy flavours worked really well together. The Spinach & Cheese Bewitched Mushroom is definitely one for mushroom lovers. The button mushrooms are stuffed with spinach and cheese and finished with aromatic Indian spices. They were rich, flavourful and really delicious. The Drunken Noodles were one of my favourites. The noodles came with vegetables, basil and pak choi, along with a lovely gravy and the flavours of oyster and soy sauce. It was wholesome, saucy, full of flavour and very satisfying. We also tried the Guava Mary and Jade Garden, and both drinks were a great accompaniment to the food. But what really made the evening stand out was the Mentalism experience. Watching the performer seemingly read minds, predict choices and somehow know things that he shouldn't know was genuinely fascinating. It added a completely different element to the evening and kept everyone entertained. Overall, Houdini is a great option if you're looking for good food, cocktails, music and entertainment all in one place. The food was creative and flavourful, the ambience was lively, and the Mentalism Evening made the experience particularly memorable. Definitely a place I will recommend for a fun and different night out.

Had a lovely experience at Houdini! The place has a beautiful ambience, and the food was amazing. Everything was well presented and tasted really good. It’s a great spot to enjoy good food in a nice setting. Definitely worth visiting!

I asked the staff if they know any magic. They smiled at me and served the food, and suddenly the entire table went silent bcoz everyone was too busy eating. 😋 🍽️

Absolutely magical experience!We had such a fantastic time at Houdini. The entire place has a cool, mysterious energy, and the vibe is completely unmatched. On top of the great atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Every single dish we tried hit the spot. If you are looking for a great night out with awesome energy and incredible food, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
