House Of Maharashtra serves the most authentic coastal food. Extremely polite staff and service is top notch. They recommend top food items from their list. Loved it. Have come here twice, and trust me I'm a finicky person, so this is not a paid review but organic! 😜

The food was absolutely tasty — no doubt about that! 👌 By the time my thali arrived, it had already gone cold — which was quite disappointing because Bhakri was not available ..so they told me to order Komdi vade .but not inclusive in my thali ..but separately A special shoutout to Neil Dutta for his exceptional service. Truly 5-star effort from him — he went out of his way to take care of us, even arranging *komdi vade* when bhakri wasn’t available ..That kind of dedication really stands out. 🙌 However, the overall experience was very disappointing due to extremely slow service. It was so delayed that people around us were literally asking, *“Kya mera order cancel hua hai kya?”* 😕 This is something the management seriously needs to look into — because no matter how good the food is, such delays can cost you customers. Another concern was the poor AC cooling. It was uncomfortably hot, to the point that one of our members couldn’t even enjoy their meal properly and he ended up not ordering anything 👉 Honest suggestion: The hotel really needs more staff like Neil and better service management. But overall, we left feeling disappointed

Very bad mixture and usage of salt, without the right amount of salt we cannot enjoy any food, rather the hostess said they purposely put less salt for BP patients, so funny

Food was not at all good I have ordered Fish with spicy but they served tastless and without spicy. Chapatis also are like tiffin packed chapatis like they have prepared it all in the morning. Finally it was waste of money

Unfair Trade Practices, Defaming Maharashtrian Culture, and Zero Hospitality (felt discriminated as vegetarian) My visit to House of Maharashtra was not just a bad dining experience; it was an exercise in deceptive management and a total lack of respect for the guest. The Legal/Policy Issue: Unfair Trade Practices I was told that the Vegetarian Thali has a minimum order of 3, yet a single Non-Veg Thali (pictured) was served to my friend without hesitation. When I asked about this, the staff claimed - it takes too long to prepare. This is logically and operationally false. As seen in the photo, 60% of a non-veg thali consists of vegetarian staples). Under the Consumer Protection Act, this feels like a Restrictive Trade Practice. Felt discriminated after being denied for a standard service that the kitchen is clearly equipped to provide. We went for lunch and it was not busy at all. In case someone is wondering it’s hard to make non specialised food
