A hidden gem for anyone who loves Indian regional cuisine! ❤️ The ambience at Indya Tales is beautiful and very aesthetic. We loved trying dishes from different parts of India all in one place. The Benne Dosa was authentic, the Dabeli was packed with flavor, and the Pav Bhaji was delicious. The cheesy Ghughra Sandwich was the highlight of our meal, and the Bajri Pizza was a healthy yet tasty surprise. The Kesar Lassi was rich and refreshing, while the Choco Hazelnut Mava Cake and Rabdi were the perfect way to end the meal. Great food, excellent service, and a unique concept. Definitely a place I’ll visit again and recommend to anyone looking to explore the diverse flavors of India!

If you’re at Sky City Mall, Borivali, this is one restaurant you shouldn’t miss. Yahan humne try kiya Palak Patta Chaat, jo perfectly crispy aur chatpata tha. Chhole Bhature were soft, fluffy, and super satisfying. Bene Podi Masala Dosa had such a unique flavour that I couldn’t stop eating it. Saath mein humne Kutchi Beer aur Peda Wali Lassi bhi try ki, aur meal ka perfect ending hua unke soft and delicious Mawa Cake ke saath. Agar aap bhi Sky City Mall visit kar rahe ho, toh Indya Tales ko apni foodie list mein zaroor add karna. Aur is reel ko save kar lo for your next Borivali food plan!

I had an amazing dining experience at Indya Tales, Skycity Mall, Borivali! The concept of bringing regional Indian flavours from across the country under one roof is truly unique. Every dish was beautifully presented and made with great attention to detail. The Mava Cake dessert was definitely the highlight of my meal! The staff was courteous, attentive, and ensured I had a wonderful experience throughout.

Really enjoyed our experience here! We tried the Jhalmuri, Ragi Dosa, Benne Dosa, Old Delhi Chaat, Coffee, and Jaleba with Rabdi. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and had an authentic taste. The chutneys were especially fresh and delicious. Loved the ambience and the unique concept of bringing different Indian flavours under one roof. Definitely worth visiting with family! ❤️

Quantity so low, even a 5 year old kid will need 4 dishes to fill their stomach. Taste wasn’t that great either. Apart from the Benne dosa, nothing was worth even trying

Extremely disappointing experience — overpriced, tiny portions and poor service. The prices are higher than Swati and Soam, but the portions are nowhere close. At these prices, the quantity is simply not acceptable. We ordered Banarasi Tamatar Chaat, which was extremely spicy. The Dabeli was ridiculously small — smaller than what you would get at a roadside stall. The Hummus with Falafel came with just four small falafels and barely a few teaspoons of hummus. The Gatte Ki Sabzi with Satpadi Roti was another disappointment — the portion of roti was very small and the quantity of sabzi was far too little. The Patiala Lassi was served only half-filled. When we raised this with the manager, instead of addressing the concern, his response was, “You can complain to my owner or put feedback on Zomato; it’s not in my hands.”This is hardly the response one expects from a manager when a genuine concern is raised. The service was equally poor. There was no cutlery on the table, and we had to repeatedly ask the staff to bring it. Overall, high prices + extremely small portions + poor service made this a very disappointing dining experience. I would genuinely like the owner to call me to discuss this experience.I am happy to explain exactly what went wrong and why I feel the experience did not justify the price we paid.

Disappointed: Not Authentic Bedmi Puri I came after seeing their Instagram posts expecting authentic Bedmi Puri with aloo sabji. Instead, I was served 3 regular puris with basic aloo tamatar curry for ₹500—which feels like overcharging for a common dish, not the specialty item advertised. Bedmi Puri should have moong dal and cumin in the dough, giving it a distinctive rich, earthy flavor and denser texture. What I received was plain, ordinary puri—completely different from what I ordered. Beyond the food misrepresentation, the dining experience was uncomfortable. The AC wasn't working correctly, and I was bitten by mosquitoes multiple times during my 15-20 minute sitting. For ₹500, basic comfort and authentic food should be guaranteed. Not recommended. The restaurant should either deliver what they advertise or stop promoting on social media.
