Legacy and reputation
Nooresha Kably trained in Tokyo and worked in Japanese kitchens before bringing that rigour and respect for craft to Mumbai.

No doubt the food is good but the Arrogance they have is to another level they definitely don’t deserve the reviews 45 mins only to have self take away parcel and 45 mins of wait to get a table isn’t it hilarious! The owner doesn’t care clearly anything about the customers! I will ensure I will never order from here neither visit the place!

Before I came here, I was a lawyer. As I’m having the miso ramen, Izumi has convinced me to leave my job, start extensive ramen review and create a Michelin guide equivalent for ramen in this lifetime. Food that inspires. Food that makes you want to dance. Food that makes you sing.

The overall experience at Izumi was wonderful. I have no words how to describe the experience the food. The food was mouth melting totally worth the price & experience.

Excellent food - some of the best Japanese in Mumbai. Gets crowded on weekends so reservations are a must

Great place for authentic Jap food. We had the sushi, robatta grilled chicken, grilled portobello & king oyster mushroom (amazing flavors!) and the veg ramen on server's recommendation. The only dish which was absolutely not worth it was the brocolli dish which had like 3 shreds of brocolli and priced for 800. Decent cocktails.

The service and staff behaviour was rather cold. We went for lunch and had the pork tonkotsu ramen, it had bits and pieces of pork, just thrown in like chunks. In a ramen like this, you would expect pork chashu to be one whole big piece but that wasn't the case, very disappointing. Maybe because it was the end of their service during the lunch time? Not sure what the issue was but was left disappointed

Chicken gyoza - 5/10 (quite bland) Chicken skewers - 7/10 (very tender, loved the texture, did not enjoy the flavour) California roll - 7/10 (decent at best) Prawn tempura roll - 6/10 (no crunch, the sauce had a weird aftertaste) Matcha cocktail - 9/10 Papa don’t preach - 6/10

Can be better , did not find worth the hype of condemning nast #12 rated . Probably it has better food for nonveg eaters . Highly disappointed with dry sushi rice , and even the taste . Have had much better sushi at other restaurants ( like Baoji )

The food was okay, it did not stand up to the hype. Many better options available.

We called to reserve a table 5 days ago. We were told we will get a link to pay the advance. We are still waiting on the link. After that they have stopped, taking our calls. Horrible experience.
