Craving for north Indian food while in lokhandwala? J.J express is the best answer to your cravings. With an outer open air seating and inside seating it accommodates good number of people. Their north Indian specialities that I could try were chicken tandoori and butter chicken. Chicken tandoori was superb with its real nice marination and the butter chicken which came with bones amazed us with its taste and flavors. It tasted best with butter Rumali roti. Desserts can be better

A place that's well marketed and fits the bill somehow, it's one those places that you can call your "adda". Even when they don't serve alcohol and charge way above their belt if you consider the ambience. But the food they serve, makes up for all of that and leaves you wanting more. Some fried prawns is what we ordered. It was served with freshly chopped onions and some green chutney. I've not seen fresher onions that the ones I ate here, the chutney was phenomenal. Prawns were not crispy as such, but they were perfectly cooked and very tender. The service is really good. Must visit.

The butter chicken was way tooooo spicy….. inspite of giving instructions. Even the chicken pieces were like shredded chicken and not like tikkas. The rumali roti was ok.

We were passing by jai jawan express Lokhandwala. We stopped to explore its delicacies on the fact that the taste would be same as its bandra branch. But, it was not a good experience. We ordered mutton seekh kebabs which were hard and not at all juicy. So we decided not to order anything else. I am feeling v sad to review that JJ has lost its charm. Hope they are back with a bang..

Worst punjabi style chicken ever in the entire universe i think the the owner a sardar has lost it in this lockdown , we pay money for name (reputation of JJ ) and good food but i think the are only concerned abt the money , buy a godrej lock asap and seal this joint for serving the rediculous food ever (forget punjabi style chicken this should be called potty chicken ) tasted like potty , threw away the entire food after tasting one bite of it .JJ sucks . Will Never ever ever ever ever ever order food from this joint again

The food was tasteless. We ordered for half Tandoori Chicken, Chicken kadai and Chicken biryani. Except for Tandoori Chicken, the food was not worth the value. Biryani did not have any chicken pieces. The rice and gravy did not blend at all. The masala was separate and the rice was tasting horrible. Not worth 1162/-

I ordered chicken tika from this restaurant on 16th December evening. The chicken I got was absolutely hopeless, hard and chewy. I doubt it was chicken as the next day I prepared a gravy dish using this chicken pieces but it was totally useless and ultimately I threw it. Hope Zomato takes some suitable action.

I am a regular at the Khar Jai Jawan. But this Jai jawan express near Lokhandwala circle is horrible. Roll had no taste n stale food. Made me a roll with yesterday’s frozen kebab.

It’s the worst restaurant I have ever been to super bad service and extremely rude staff food is very average too
