Visited this restaurant on a friends advice and truly it did justice to the recommendation and hype. The space is small with quite good ambience with walls of paintings, reflecting core aesthetics. We started with chicken Lapeta kebab, chicken Sukha, prawn Pulimunchi, to go along we ordered Malvani Vade, Neer Dosa and Bhakri. What stand out was chicken Biryani - flavourful, tasty and good portion. The food had authentic flavour and tasty. Do not miss the Solkadi to finish of the food on a good chilled flavourful note to balance buds.

We visited Jai hind for team lunch. We had to wait for 15-20 mins as there was all office crowd. We ordered all 4 types of Thalis - Surmai Thali, Chicken Thali, Mutton Thali and Prawns Thali. The taste of all the 4 thalis and curries was amazing. We had it with neer Dosa, Wade, Bhakri n Chapati. Pricing is also affordable. You can visit if you are a seafood or non veg lover. Approximately costed us 500 per person. Would visit again for trying other dishes. Overall a pleasant experience

Perfect place for authentic seafood delicacies. Great service, genuine suggestions and family friendly. We tried the following and loved them all: - Pomfret Gassi - Surmai Pulimunchi - Prawns Koliwada (size was small) - Bombil fry - Chicken Sukha - Neer Dosa - Solkadi (must try) - Caramel custard Only issues are that it doesn't have a parking facility, and is CLOSED ON MONDAYS!

Surmai thali - 4.5/5 Prawns masala thali - 4.5/5 Authentic fish thalis with authentic malvani taste.. Also do try the solkadi to complete your whole meal 🥰❤️ Highly recommended for all fish lovers 💕

Small place but food is amazing. Authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Sea food is a must try.

The atmosphere here is casual although the ambience is good ,Staff is friendly and attentive ,we had bharla bombil and surmai tawa fry in starters both very too good and in main course we had , chicken thali,mutton thali , prawns thali and bombil thali all where good ,overall good and value for money.must try.👍

Jai Hind Lunch Home Lower Parel This restaurant was to open at 18:45 PM according to ZOMATO mentioned in their restaurant profile ......we reached there and they asked us to wait outside for 30 Minutes, which was a shear waste of time for us (We were told by the steward and other restaurant members that it will take 5 mins to open up as they mentioned it 'N times' and they didn't keep their word.....I believe they like to keep customers waiting outside their restaurant like idiots)..........Later on we ordered their KOMBDI WADE which was SWEET and PRAWNS AJADINA which was TOO DRY & WAY TOO SALTY.....Finally At the time to settle the restaurant bill we requested if we can pay through ZOMATO, the steward and the MANAGER RUDELY DENIED ACCEPTING PAYMENT THROUGH ZOMATO APP and said we don't have ZOMATO (EVEN SHOWING TO THEM ON OUR PHONES THAT ZOMATO HAS PAYMENT OPTIONS). BEING A ZOMATO GOLD MEMBER & GETTING DISCOUNTS USING ZOMATO WHY ON EARTH ARE WE DENIED TO PAY VIA ZOMATO ?????

We drove down 25kms to eat at this joint with my elderly parents. Unfortunately the place doesn’t even have basic facilities like a washroom within its setup nor is there any facility near. The only thing they direct their customers is to a public washroom 1km away. After such a poor experience didn’t feel the place deserved to be even tried for their cuisine. The handling of guests is also quite pathetic. They need to be more empathetic towards elderly and guests with special needs. Will not recommend to anyone

Very pathetic service. I ordered paplet thali and waited for almost 30 minutes for the order to be served. I left the table after 30 minutes. The manager was least bothered about his pathetic service. Very arrogant staff & people…
