Mohammed Ali Road of Mumbai is predominant street food zones and paradise for food lovers. Despites being famous for its Ramzan food walks, even on the odd days its have it plentiful own limelights. There was an enormous small eatery from street vendor to small restaurent. One among those eatery was of Janata restaurant which serves great food. The place is small and quite uncomfortable for seating arrangement but have good food in both quality and quantity wise. We give tried to few of the dishes which is quite popular among the locals. 1. Chicken Naan Sandwich: The bun which fill with chicken filling cooked with masala on the tawa. 2. Chicken Cheese Roll: The quite famous roll filled with chicken & cheese sure to drool over one. 3. Egg Hakka Noodles: Commonly an indo chinese food but quantity is sufficient in half plate. 4. Chicken Baida Roti: The most common dishes serves here is Baida roti. An egg roti stuffed with chicken cooked on Tawa.

Janata restaurant near CST is a place where u can satisfy ur tummy in less then 100rs.. We have ordered chiken kolapuri, seekh kabab, for which the place is famous.. A budget friendly restaurant..with delicious taste. A good place arround CST for foodies after shopping in near market.. Though not a family restaurant..definitely a place every individual..👍

We had Kheema abd Seekh . These are the famous dishes here. And rightly so. They were beyond compare. Very delicious. Definitely worth a try.Its not a family restaurent as such but the ambience is decent. More suitable for a gang of guys during a sunny aftrnoon. Food 5/5 Ambience 3/5 Service 3/5

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant today. From the beginning, the service was extremely unprofessional. The waiter was rude and refused to even provide a menu, saying they didn’t have one and instead insisting that we just suggest items. We ordered a chicken pulao, but they served us tawa pulao instead. When we raised the issue during billing, the waiter arrogantly claimed it was “the same thing” — which it clearly is not. The dish was overloaded with potatoes, had nothing to do with what we ordered, and we didn’t even eat it. Instead of admitting their mistake, the staff tried to justify it and pass it off as intentional. This felt like a deliberate attempt to mislead customers, upsell items, and increase the bill. Both the waiter and the manager showed zero professionalism and no sense of customer service. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I strongly recommend others to avoid this restaurant unless you want to be fooled and overcharged.
