Tried Journal Café today and it’s such a cute, cozy spot. Perfect if you want a quiet place to sit and get some focused work done. The café has lots of charming little corners, a very calm vibe, and the cutest cat that just makes the whole place even more wholesome. Food-wise, the sweet potato fries were a must-try. The spices balanced the natural sweetness of the sweet potato really well. I also tried the strawberry matcha — the taste was good, though I felt the quantity could have been a little more. But the real star was the Aglio Olio pasta— honestly one of the tastiest I’ve had. Jesse and Atul were kind enough to help customize it exactly to my preference, which made the experience even better. Special thanks to Jesse and Atul for being such wonderful hosts and accommodating my choices so warmly. Definitely a place I’d visit again for the vibe, the food, and the peaceful work-friendly atmosphere.

stopped by for a late Sunday brunch. Everything we ordered was a hit. The sweet potato fries were a solid start, but that Pizza Rodolfo was incredible. It’s better than almost anywhere else in Mumbai—the crust was so light and flaky, and the sauce was spot on. Also tried the mushroom truffle toast and the mango toast with ice cream. I’m definitely coming back for more

Journal is my go to place. Ambiance is nice and spacious. Food is better than most of the cafes out there and most importantly the USP of the Cafe is the Staff. Service is excellent. Jay, JC, Hemandra, Atul, and others, entire staff is great, professional and make you feel homely. Excellent place to be and definitely a must visit

Summary — Quite underwhelming. We made a reservation via District, but on arrival were told the restaurant was full — which defeats the purpose of a reservation. Thankfully, they arranged a table within 5 minutes, so no major issue there. The food, however, was disappointing overall: • Granola Bowl: 3/5 • French Fold Omelette: 5/5 • Caprese Sandwich: 0/5 • Journal Cold Coffee: 3.5/5 • Cappuccino: 5/5 The Caprese sandwich especially deserves a mention. As a Caprese aficionado who tries them across cafés around the world, this was genuinely one of the worst I’ve had. The pesto had an overpowering betel-leaf-like taste, lacked freshness and nuttiness, and completely overpowered the sandwich. I took one bite and asked them to take it away. Coming from Bandra, we walked in with high expectations from the café and its ratings - unfortunately, they weren’t met. — an otherwise optimistic foodie that you lost
