Were in Mumbai Central area...and went for an unplanned dinner to Kalapana's... Must say...It was really good! We tried their special thali... the portion was enough for two...and the taste was amazing... They have both ac and non ac seating arrangements... Service is very fast... Enjoyed the dinner... Intend to visit again when in the locality...

Many a times as parents we prefer dining at a place which is comfortable and at the same time where the restaurant proactively helps in making the dining experience manageable with children. Today I witnessed one such experience from the team of people who serviced our meal. Thumbs up for their hospitality and proactiveness

Kalpana This outlet is located near Mumbai central and is at walking distance from the railway station. Have been here many times for family dinner and food is really good. North indian menu is quite impressive Would recommend to try dal tadka anyday!! Ambience is decent and there are two sections A/c and non A/c. Seatings are well organized and very much restful. Recommendations- Kalpana spl veg, paneer tikka masala, dal tadka

This is one of the restaurants heavily crowded around Mumbai central station. Even though there are many competing restaurants Kalpana seems to been doing good for itself. It is a very old place and reasonably priced.

Overall 3.5/5 Food 4/5 Ambience 3.5/5 We found this family restaurant at ten minutes walking distance from Mumbai Central railway station ... Restaurant for all ie easy in cost...try paneer items✌ services can be improved further othereise A/c Non-A/c available..better seating arrangements and the thing i like the most is quality food👍 Basically a family food stop!😉

Veg chilly feied rice, masala dosa, chees sada dosa is very nice. Thali is normal nothing special in thali. Idli, Mendu vada with amul butter is ok ok. Pau bhaji is also ok ok. Chees pau bhaji is little more tastier than sada bhaji. Staff is nice Ambience is ok ok.

We ordered the Thali with pulav today for lunch. The Thali was pretty ordinary. There was nothing great about it. The Puris were nice. The vegetables were okay. The shrikand was okay. The pulav was simple as well. {uid:1098222}

This restaurant is really shit ... chapati corners served was so hard that it was not breakable from bare hands .. when asked waiter, he said it comes from outside ... check the pic attached as proof .. on top of that waiter was arguing and not accepting his mistake.. won’t recommend to anyone

Very bad experience - For paneer iteam they will add more onion and capsicum. paneer is 10% only. Ordered paneer crispy also but paneer crispy was like paneer pakoda. Don't go there for lunch and dinner.

Ordered Pav bhaji and a plate of idli, guess what no onions sent along and the coconut chutney sent was just for tasting purpose
