went for my dad's birthday last night and the experience was amazing! Pravin was a delight. he was soft spoken, polite and gave good recommendations. the menu is limited but I don't think there's a single dish on that menu that's not a 100% yumm 1. Mathania Mirch ka murgh tikka: oh my god these tikkas was so succulent and flavorful. the spice balance was amazing 2. Murgh Reshmi Kebab: by far these were the juiciest and moist kebabs I've ever had. unlike other places that give two seekhs, we were served four. it had a limey zing that amplified the flavours. just tantalizing!! 3. Dilli wala Butter Chicken and butter garlic naam: we were concerned it was going too sweet but Pravin ensured to get it modified to serve our spicy palate. the gravy was rich with a perfect amount of spice. the naans were soft. 4. Murgh Awadhi Biryani: long ago I had Mandi biryani in Dubai and never tasted that again but damn this Awadhi Biryani brought back those memories. the biryani was not heavy on masala but it was so aromatic they gave us a lovely piece of cake for my dad's birthday and it just made the experience so special

recently dined at Kangan, located at The Weston Mumbai, and had a pretty decent experience overall. The restaurant offers a lovely ambiance with a beautiful view, making it a great spot for a meal with a scenic backdrop. We tried a few dishes, including the **Dahi Ke Kabab**, **Kangan Ke Paneer**, **Diwali Handi**, **Laccha Paratha**, and ended with the **Mango Delight** for dessert. The food was flavorful, with the Dahi Ke Kabab and Mango Delight standing out as highlights. However, considering the quality of the food, I found the prices to be on the higher side, which might be a concern for those looking for value for money. While the experience was good, I would say the overall value didn't quite justify the cost, especially when compared to other similar options in the city. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place with a great view and don't mind splurging a bit, Kangan could be worth a visit. But for me, it’s a solid 3/5.

I had booked a table at Kangan - The Westin via Zomato and even paid in advance for the reservation, which included a 10% discount and a complimentary Chef's Special Dessert as mentioned on the Zomato listing. However, upon visiting the restaurant, despite ordering a full meal with main course, drinks, and more, the staff insisted that I would get the "freebie dessert" only if I ordered the entire 5-course meal, which was never mentioned anywhere on the Zomato offer details. To make it worse, the so-called Chef's Special Dessert turned out to be a plain Gulab Jamun! This is extremely disappointing and misleading. Such conditions should have been clearly mentioned upfront on the portal before payment. I feel cheated by Zomato's false promises and lack of transparency. Please ensure such misleading promotions are not repeated — it seriously affects customer trust.

Extremely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The service was extremely poor n no attention was given to time or quality of service. The galouti kebab was just not as it should have been....u cannot serve any SHIT TO YOUR CUSTOMER N SAY ITS GONNA BE GOOEY.... CUSTOMER KNOWS WHAT IS A KEBAB LIKE. THE main course was SALTLESS and the salt shakers were EMPTY....DON'T U CHECK BEFORE OPENING THE DINING ROOM FOR YOUR GUESTS....U R A FIVE STAR DINE IN RESTAURANT....I HOPE U REMEMBER!! WE CELEBRATE A BIRTHDAY DINNER....wherein no cutlery was provided to eat the birthday cake....unless it was asked for....aahh ahh ahh...not to forget...WE CUT THE CAKE ON AN UNCLEAN N UNCLEARED TABLE....BEC STAFF WAS TOO BUSY!! BE CAREFUL NEXT TIME U VISIT THIS PLACE N THINK ITS A FIVE STAR PROPERTY.

Extremely disappointed with the service and attitude at Kangan. The staff was visibly irritated with kids, which was disheartening in a family-friendly setting. The lakh chudiya artist refused to make bangles for children, which made no sense. To top it off, they denied splitting the bill across two cards, just because it required using two machines — unacceptable for a restaurant of this level.

Food was okay . Not worth the price . I had reserved a table via zomato with an offer for an on the house dessert . When i asked for it they said that it is applicable only with 3 course meal 😂 , i had taken a 2 course meal. They just came up with this to avoid giving me a free desert . Such a cheap stunt .

We went there, girl at the reception looked at us and exclaimed that you have a reservation, then she said she needs 15-20 mins to clean the table, and asked us to wait in the lounge. Lounge was horribly dirty, so I left in a hurry.

The Food and service at Kangan is not up to the mark, highly not recommended and veg and veg Jain food options are limited, not recommended, the issues were discussed with Shri Sharad Khandewal

not at all worth to go at this restaurant, pathetic food ,also as per hygiene i vl give zero my son got food poison aftr visiting here. this is sumthng not acceptable at five star restaurant
