Went to Kapi-Bar on a humid September Saturday. The place was buzzing with the usual new-reel-trend crowd, so there was a line, but the team handled it well and even offered complimentary brown butter cold coffee while we waited. The ambience is rustic and very Insta-friendly—textured walls, warm tones, and multiple photo spots. It feels designed for both chilling and content creation. • Garlic Roast Dosa – Crisp, aromatic, and nicely balanced on the garlic front. • Ghee Podi Thatte Idli – Soft idlis with a rich ghee finish; simple but satisfying. • Cheese Chilli Paniyaram – The viral dish lives up to the hype: cheesy, mildly spicy, and addictive. • Roasted Hazelnut Cold Coffee – Smooth, nutty, and not too sweet. • Salted Caramel Cold Coffee – Creamy with a pleasant sweet–salty balance. • Pineapple Chilli Picante – Zesty pineapple with a subtle chilli bite; very refreshing. Service was courteous and attentive despite the rush. If you’re okay with a trendy, sometimes crowded space, Kapi-Bar is a solid pick for creative coffee, elevated South Indian snacks, and a very photogenic setting.

The food was nice, brown butter kaapi was also nice, but pineapple chilli picante was okok. Also I found the prices high, specially the beverages quantity is less and price is high. Also, I wanted to try tiramisu but it was out of stock, but one can go to Mr. Misu which is hardly 5 mins away. So, overall the experience was good but need to work on the prices.

The food was really nice , the vibe very Bandra cafe types , the coffee perfect . The only thing it’s a very small joint comparing it with the BENNEs and NAMAH . Must try for genz

still trying to figure out why i paid adult price for baby benne dosa! the food is good no doubt. but completely not worth the amount of money charged, bearing in mind the portion sizes are really small. try it for the sake of a tick mark. but surely not worth going back unless they increase portion sizes. sadly, the good food couldnt save the two stars ive taken away.

the chilli oil benne dosa was good but the cheese paniyaram and ghee podi benne dosa were below average. the dosa by itself felt like it's dipped in ghee and double fried. the iced filter coffee was good, could be a little bit stronger though. even the malt soft serve was bang on average. over all not worth the experience or hype.

Very disappointing experience! The café was extremely small and uncomfortable to sit in. The prices were way too high for the quantity they served. The dosa portion was unbelievably small, and the taste was just average — nothing special at all. Overall, the food quality, quantity, seating comfort, and pricing did not meet my expectations. Definitely not worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend it. 👎

I’ve recently been obsessed with trying benne dosa spots across Mumbai, so I visited Kapibar after seeing all the hype. I tried the Benne Chilli Dosa, Thecha Cheese Dosa, and Masala Dosa. Honestly, I’d rate each one 2/10. None of them lived up to the hype, and I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here.
