Had a really good time at Kuai Kitchen. We were lucky to get a table without waiting, and the service was nice too. The food was honestly the best I’ve tried in the Indo Japanese and Indo Chinese category.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! i kid you not i literally had the worst dining experience at kuai. the super hyped thursday offer is a TOTAL SCAM!!!!. we reached at sharp 7pm and asked the manager for a table he told us that no reservations are taken and that all slots are booked and only 9:45 slot can be given to which we somehow agreed. we were in the waiting when we see people who came alot after us were getting direct entries while the manager told us that it was first come firse serve basis and no reservations were taken. then how come these guys were getting tables when they came after us. while we were waiting there were two tables of 4 each where only two people were sitting. we politely asked can we share the table with them since we were also two. he said sharing is not allowed. we agreed. the thursday offer has set of rules like compulsory ordering of one drink per person which is not included in the offer then compulsory payment of service charge 1 hr slot only etc etc also the price is wrongly mentioned its 1500 pp other than all these rules which easily takes the bill to 2k pp. we waited forever and despite our promised time being 9:45, till 10 pm there were no signs. as at that hour he was making arrangements for people who were given 8:45 time slot. why??? because zero management i saw so many tables sitting for almost 2 hours while others were waiting like fools outside. at 10 pm the manager told me is it ok if u can wait for another half and hour?? we were waiting since 7!!! we were given table at 11pm and then told more than half items were not available as they got over!!!!! then the manager had the audacity to ask me if i mind if some people can share the table with me. since there were so many people who were promised 9:45 slots but didnt get any table till even 11 pm. and people outside said this is not the first time every time the manager creates this kind of nuisance!!! after all this there was hair in our dumpling. they had no guts to even ask for the bill we left but pathetic experience

A lot of people have addressed the misleading advertisements of the Thursday offer and I totally agree with them as I too experienced the same. On this outlet’s zomato page there is no Thursday offer menu and when you look at the other outlets page the price is ₹1250 but the restaurant they will charge you ₹1750. A hike which has not been mentioned or accurately conveyed to the customers. The management has also taken upon themselves to conveniently change the rules. One time I reached the restaurant around 7:45 pm and was told I would not get the table before 10:30-10:45 pm really contrasting for a restaurant which does not take reservations and is first come first serve but has a waiting time of ~3 hours. A week later I called the restaurant to confirm if reservations were taken, they denied and said for no occasions are reservations taken. Thus, next time we reached at 6:45 pm only to be told that reservation are indeed taken but only for slot 1 which is from 7-8 pm. After which it is first come first serve. Then we requested them that if there are no open slots for the first one please write down our names, in case if someone backs out we can get a table. They refused. A few suggestive questions for the restaurant 1. Why not take reservations for all the slots? 2. If you are worried people won’t turn up ask for a nominal reservation fee which is later adjusted in the bill? Luckily we got a table in slot 1, now if there is a time limit during unlimited food offers I have typically seen a restaurant advertise it beforehand. Once we were seated we were shocked to find out hiked up prices, 1 hour time limit and a mandatory drink which each patron has to purchase in addition to the unlimited sushi offer. As of the service charge which they are charging I have filed a complaint with the authorities, hopefully their misleading activities will be put to rest.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER – COMPLETE MISMANAGEMENT & SCAMMY OFFER I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Kuai Kitchen, Colaba. This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We reached at 7 PM sharp and were clearly told that no reservations are taken and it’s a first come, first serve basis. Despite that, we were pushed to a 9:45 PM slot, which we reluctantly agreed to. What followed was complete chaos and zero management: * People who arrived after us were given direct tables * Tables with 2 people occupying 4-seaters were not adjusted * When we requested to share tables, we were told “sharing not allowed” (later they themselves asked us to share!) The so-called Thursday offer is completely misleading: * ₹1500 per person is NOT the real cost * Mandatory drink orders + service charges push the bill close to ₹2000 per person * Hidden conditions everywhere We waited endlessly from 7 PM to 11 PM: * At 10 PM, we were still waiting while earlier slot customers were being managed * At 10 PM, the manager casually asked us to wait another 30 minutes * We finally got a table at 11 PM And it gets worse: * Half the menu items were already unavailable * The manager had the audacity to then ask if we could share our table with others * We even found hair in the dumplings * No apology, no accountability, nothing To top it off, we saw another group being offered free dinner as compensation, while we were just ignored after hours of waiting. This is not just bad service — this is false promises, poor management, and complete disrespect for customers’ time. Avoid this place if you value your time, money, and basic dining hygiene.

Availed the Thursday offer and the manager said it’s 40 minutes waiting but we got a table after more than an hour. We were shocked to see the hike in prices along with too many terms and conditions like buying a compulsory drink per person. The staff was very entitled and the service was slower than a snail, especially cause we were being timed on our meal. Every time we ordered they took away the menu even if not required by anyone. The waiter was super clumsy too, spilling ginger and sauces on the table without having the decency to clear it up. We had to ask for water multiple times too, the food quality has also deteriorated. Overall we had a pathetic experience, not worth it at all.
