No visit to Kyani is complete without beginning with their iconic Bun Maska and Irani Chai. Equally delightful was the Brun Maska, offering a crisp exterior with a soft centre that soaked up the butter beautifully while complementing the robust, creamy chai. The savoury spread was equally satisfying. The Chicken Puff arrived with beautifully flaky pastry encasing a flavourful chicken filling that instantly reminded us why this has remained a customer favourite for decades. The Chicken Cheese Omelette was fluffy, generously filled, and wonderfully comforting, while the classic Cheese Omelette proved that even the simplest dishes can become memorable when executed with care. Their Keema Pav was everything you’d expect from an iconic Irani café. Richly spiced, perfectly cooked, and served with soft pav that effortlessly soaked up every bit of the delicious keema. The Keema Ghotala elevated the experience further, blending eggs into the keema to create a creamy, indulgent dish packed with flavour in every bite. The Mutton Cutlet had a crisp golden crust that gave way to a soft, flavourful filling, while the Chicken Cutlet delivered the same comforting nostalgia with every mouthful. To end on a sweet note, the famous Special Mawa Cake was an absolute delight. Moist, fragrant, and delicately sweet, it’s easy to understand why generations of Mumbaikars continue to swear by it. Paired with another cup of their signature chai and a few crisp Khari biscuits, it made for the perfect finale. Beyond the food, what truly enhances the experience is the warmth of the people. Some places don’t just serve food, they serve legacy — and you can truly feel that here. ❤️ The history and tradition are beautifully reflected in every bite. The taste is authentic and comforting, like it has been perfected over generations. The puffs, kheema, bun maska and chai are absolute must-tries! And please don’t forget to order the ice cream soda — it’s such a nostalgic treat. Just a small tip: the takeaway counter doesn’t allow soda orders, so it’s better to order it while you’re seated at your table. Yes, it’s usually very crowded and the waiting time can be long… but honestly, some dishes are completely worth the wait. Good food, rich legacy, and flavors that stay with you.

We visited Kyani’s very randomly and it was a pleasant experience. The vibe is nice and cozy. Being vegetarians there wasn’t a lot of options available for us but we had the Cheese burger, the bun was too thick in comparison to the patty inside and it just had some mayo and cheese. Irani chai was decent.

I visited this place for the second time and the first time experience was not good at all hence gave it another chance coz we wanted to know what is the hype all about this place, trust me it is an very much average restaurant and you get way much better places in mumbai. I thought there was nothing special about this place, its just that it gives you that old bombay wala vibe. Bun maska(3/5)- they use normal packed maska and buns were fresh. kyani chai(3/5) Chicken puff(3/5)- its tasted like the puff was filled with potato and few shreds of chicken. Kheema pav(2/5)- since it was almost 6:15 and kitchen was closing we think he just added some water and gave it since it had that watery flavour which tasted really bad. Cheese omlette(3.5/5)- omlet was good but had really less cheese and was kept at one corner , the omlette is not served with a slice of bread which is a drawback. Mawa cake(4/5)- it was fresh and tasted good Major drawback is that they accept only cash. No upi no cards. Does it worth the hype?- i don’t think so.

Food tasted very average. Not worth the money and hype at all. We ordered Irani tea, bun maska, akuri and chicken cutlet. The akuri tasted good. Chiken cutlet was more of a alu cutlet with few strings of chicken. Tea was watery. Total Rs 600 for 2. Irani Tea - 2/5 Akuri - 3.5/5 Bun maska - 2/5 Chicken cutlet - 1.5/5

I went here with a lot of expectations, but the place was below par. The bun maska had unmelted butter, the irani tea tasked nothing like it. The waiters were super uninterested and the place in general seemed super unhygienic. The menu was cheap, yes, but so was everything else.

Sad experience, waiting of 15 mins is definitely worth it. Food is taste less and below par quality, best to eat would be Bun Maska but even that is dry. Ambience is non existing, hygiene again non existing too many paper napkins spread all over the floor. Place to avoid

service is 3rd class, u can't even have your meal properly over here. even, cold coffee taste is better at tapri rather than here. If you seek, some good time with your buddies with some good food.....plzz don't come
